Vixen mawshot render

Since Net Neutrality hasn't been repealed yet, you still get the full image for now. This is the original render created for my Net Neutrality poster:

This is how you'll be seeing my art in the future

This is a quick preview of how my drawn art, renders and animations are going to appear on your computer from now on. That is if the FCC gets its way and Net Neutrality protections are repealed.

Don't like how that looks like? Me neither! So act before it's too late: Call congress urgently and demand that they keep Net Neutrality Title II protections!

Point of no return 5

In this year's issue of PONR, the vixen continues her journey toward... well I don't really know toward what; She doesn't tell me what she does, despite me being trapped in her belly for half a decade now? In any case, she seems to be digging one of the cities I designed for Xonotic years ago... which you can find at the link below if you're interested. What can I say: I hope she makes good use of it as a base for whatever she's doing!

Point of no return 1 - 4

I started this little series long before my Patreon. As such I never got to post it here as well. These are pages 1 to 4, which I developed over the course of the last 5 years.

"Point of no return" is a funny drawn series I began at the mentioned date; It started with me making a drawing of my red vixen character having eaten me... next year I decided to make a part two of this drawing, and from then on I made it a tradition to make a new page every year.

Rethinking my approach to Patreon

I am going to be honest: I have been dealing with a lot of stress and depression over Patreon lately, which has only added to turmoil already caused by other issues. Not only is my PayPal account due to become restricted in 3 weeks unless the staff verifies my information, which doesn't happen because they mysteriously disappear into a black hole whenever they try to look at it; I have in a matter of weeks lost $150, and am now down to less than $300 per month. Yes... I'm literally at 3 quarters...

Update on PayPal identity verification

This is a repost from: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Settings/Identity-verification/m-p/1350183 I’m also putting it here so others can know what to expect if they ever run into this issue.

It's been over a month now. I'm pretty disappointed with the way PayPal has been handling the issue, even if of course it could always be worse. First of all, the website...

Brief Escape (announcement) (vore version)

I'm announcing upcoming sneak peaks and exclusives of my latest vorish Blender project, Brief Escape! It is a rendered image series, and will consist of roughly 32 pages in total (possibly more depending on how many renders the series fits under).

This is my most ambitious render to date in terms of quality and photorealism. It will feature the vixen seen in my drawn art, using the model present in the anthro character pack which I recently published on Blendswap. Also me... in 3D... take a wi...

Blue vixen's mall trip

My animation for 2017! Blue vixen returns, doing what she does best since the day I got my hands on Blender. Looks like she enjoyed a trip to my local mall... though it wasn't only to buy stuff from the looks of it. Maybe she went to the local fast food, in which case it was ...

Animation setback & Paypal issues

Firstly the most relevant subject: There may be a minor setback on the upcoming animation, due to an unknown bug in Blender which I seem to have encountered. In essence, most frames render just fine and take somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes to produce, however a few specific frames cause Blender to freeze internally. For some reason I cannot understand, Blender does thankfully recover from the crash and resumes rendering the frames in cause... however this can take several hours in between til...

New animation underway

A heads up: I've began rendering my next animation today. Can't believe how long this one took me to finish, and even now I'm not perfectly happy with it... however it will be my best short camera track to this day.

Expect to see it up around the end of October or the beginning of November, roughly a month from now. Such is life when you have to use your CPU for raytrace rendering... I only reach an average of 5 minutes per frame and have roughly 1500 frames to render.

In other news, I m...

Vore Tournament & Voragotchi - September 2017 update

September 2017 brings numerous changes and bug fixes to the projects Vore Tournament and Voragotchi. Vore Tournament sees half of the issues for the 2.0.1 target resolved, whereas Voragotchi implements new gameplay functionality as well as engine improvements. Here is the progress made so far on each project:

I'm announcing the start of a series of patron exclusive posts, which will feature my most ambitious animated film to this day. More information and background on the film will be available in those posts. I'll be publishing exclusive renders over the course of the following ...

Upcoming exclusive content of secret games & animations

As I explained in a recent journal, my Patreon was greatly affected by the sudden departure of an important supporter. This has left me under my targets once more, and in desperate need of new patrons. Meanwhile I'm going to be away for two weeks this month, and won't be able to work on some projects from my laptop and 3G connection. Considering all this, I did some thinking and decided on a future strategy for attracting new patrons, part of the direction my Patreon will be taking from this poi...

Dialog vocal samples

Decided to publish one of my older creations, intended mostly for RPG game development. The original submission can be found here:

Vore Tournament 2.0.1 bugfix release plan

Wow: The release of Vore Tournament 2.0.0 has been a blast! I could barely reply to all of the feedback and questions you guys had, which even now continue to flow. Thank you all for showing so much interest in this project! It really helps to know that it was a success.

Unfortunately a lot of comments also included bug reports. There are quite a few problems I had missed that other players noticed... nothing too bad or game-breaking, but they are still issues that will need to be dealt with. ...

Vore Tournament loading screen

As a last minute modification to be included in the release, I decided to make a properly branded loading screen. Based on the Xonotic loading screen but with the classic Vore Tournament logo instead, I think this will do nicely until I make a proper set of loading screens later on (potentially a target for 2.1.0).

VT release video production

Thought I'd share a little snapshot of me making the release video for VT. Being on Linux, I use OpenShot as my video editor, which is a nice FOSS alternative to the likes of Windows Movie Maker. This is actually my first time working more in depth with the program, but it's easy to get a hang of it especially having previous experience from the old days of messing around in WMM :)

Working on VT video & Dealing with Linux crashes

Since I thought people might be interested in an update on the Vore Tournament release, I thought I'd offer one while I'm at it.

I've been spending the last few days working on a release video for VT. It's almost done and hopefully going to be pretty fun once it's ready! Expect to see it on my Youtube channel soon after the release is published. Afterward there will hopefully be another video, highlighting the important changes and features of VT 2.0.0.

I've also posted a few last minute...

Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - Target passes, release this July!

Just letting everyone know the target has passed nice and clear. Vore Tournament 2.0.0 happens this month! Thank you again for your support in making this happen... be it financially on Patreon, or in other ways.

I'm still taking the first 1 - 2 weeks to do the final tests and preparations; Unfortunately this was (and still is) made hard by breakages introduced in recent video drivers, which make it impossible to run Xonotic / VT for more than a few minutes before my OS freezes and I have to p...

Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - Huge thanks & hosting strategy

First of all, wow... you are all amazing: After my previous post, I went from $350 to $500 in only 3 days! A few of the big pledges are temporary mind you, so I might be going back a bit within the coming months... never the less I am truly grateful for this.

Onto the important news: Granted none of my patrons decide to pull out at the last moment before the 1st, which I sincerely hope is not a thing anyone would have in mind at this point, I see no way for the target to have not been reached....

Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - One week left to meet our goal for July!

As we enter the last week of June, I once again call upon fans of VT for their help: The $400 Patreon goal is only $50 away from being met. If 5 people were to pledge $10 each, Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha could be released next month! Help make this happen: Support the project if you can, and spread the word to friends or communities whom you believe would enjoy the game! My existence and thus my ability to continue its development relies on reaching this target. Think you can chip in?

Blender model - Anthro wolf, fox, cat

As VT is still in feature freeze waiting for a release date, I chose to spend last week working on something else I've been wanting to create. This time it's a set of models, which me and other Blender artists can use for Cycles renders and animations... expect to see them around!

Basically I took the wolf created by Untied Verbeger (CC0) and made a heavily modified set of 3 characters; Currently it only includes female versions, but features an anthro wolf + fox + cat. They are not the same m...

Voragotchi update (08-06-2017)

Spent the last few days working lotses on Voragotchi. A bunch of sweet new features is now available in GIT master:

  • A whole new interface design is now in place, inspired by lilychan's fanart of the project. The new UI is cleaner, more visually appealing, and contains more useful information.
  • The pet now has a dominance trait, which affects how they behave toward the player and other people; When this trait is high, the pet will occasionally steal food from you or merchants that...

I was surprised with this lovely piece of fanart for my game Voragotchi, created by lilychan who's done an awesome job at capturing the desired look and feel of the game. Thank you very much for this adorable little pic! I'm considering using this HUD design for reference, as it looks pretty neat and right now I'm still building the overall look and feel of the interface.

This is not my work and I take absolutely no credit for it. As such this is a free post and not in any way part of the actu...

Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - Retrying for next month

Yeah... it seems the Vore Tournament release won't be happening this month. The target didn't pass by a long shot: I have less than 350$ out of $400 apparently, now that the payment info checks have revealed the real numbers. Granted no other patrons pull out, I'm about 50$ short.

In consequence, I'll be retrying for a release next month. To be fair this is sort of a relief: I still haven't figured out the solution to hosting, nor had any volunteers for that multiplayer testing event... theref...

Vore Tournament 2.0.0 Alpha - Potential delay

One of my biggest patrons had to pull out their support for the time being. As such, the $400 goal is no longer reached, and I'm currently some $30 under my target once more.
