Aaaaand - moving on! This month we're getting some First Knife pages, too *fingers crossed*
This had me thinking - should I show you the remaining two pages on the comic now, or wait until it actually comes out? No mental resources for having any "summary of 2022" kind of posts, but at least I finished a great-looking comic kin under a month, and then Sergey Nazarov made it 3 times better with his exquisite colors ^__^
These types of crowd/interior shots are always frustrating for me, but I think here it worked out well enough?
Plus, my best friend/toughest critic who is also named Artyom but who's NOT me said that the last panel here is my best work in ages, so I'm happy about that, too!

Scanning pages and applying screentones to them is my absolute favorite kind of pleasure, and this sequence was a real treat back in September - maybe one of the last and most pleasing things I did in Russia.

A drawing made for a very lovely book by my good comics comrade Will Tempest. Check this series out ASAP!
Had a lot of fun doing these, and my process for inking my digital sketches traditionally was pretty goofy this time around XD
Must be my favorite page of this year. Extremely simple, inked in a breeze of time, and cartooning on it makes me feel sooo, so good.
I'm taking a pause in posting finished pages for a while, because I'm all out of pages that I managed to ink back in Russia. But more FKII posts is still coming later this month!
