I'm glad I finally got a chance to return to Blender, I had a lot of fun working on this! Creating the ropes was a cool challenge, and was done using Blender's geometry nodes system. This is also my first attempt at using DXO to emulate an "analog" film look.

Shadowheart WIP and status updates

Hey guys,

First off, I want to explain the lack of content for the past two months. I've started to get hammered at work recently, which has been draining the energy I would need to sit down and focus on something intricate like Blender.

That being said, I want to push myself to release around 1 to 2 renders a month, and the best way I can think of doing this is to post work-in-progress pics more frequently to Patreon.

Lucy (Edgerunners) Hair Asset

Compatible with Blender 3.5+

Yeah, I'm not the greatest at particle hair, if you are used to the assets from other (better) modelers. But, as far as I can tell, this is the only Lucy hair that exists.

Parent the emitter to the head bone of your base body, then scale and comb as required to fit the head shape.

I did the Daz hair conversion myself. I'll clean it up and post it here shortly. Think it might be a neat idea to start uploading some self-made assets here whenever it happens.

Yes, I finally managed to get a render completed after a long time! Got tied up with work and other stuff. 

Hope you enjoy this piece, had a ton of fun making the cool glowing bodypaint that Akali has (don't see it too much in 3D). Decided to make her Pride month themed as well by tossing in some bi-lighting in the background, too.
