Don't bother looking for part 14! There kinda isn't one.
I started with Part 1, which was what I refer to as the COVER image.
Then part 2 was actually page 1.
Counting on, it means part 14 was page 13.
So this makes part 15. We all on the same page again? Gooooood! ^_^ 

So.... Peculiar Changeling wrote this story a few years ago called "Under Lock & Key", and when I read it, I wanted to turn it into a comic. I loved it!

So, here it is, the final page for this chapter.

Art wise, nothing new. I used all sorts of sketching methods to put this one out quickly (I was running out of time when I was drawing it).
The bags in the final panel were even copied from an earlier page, as are the brooms in the corner. :-P 

Whatever works, right? ^_^ 

But let's talk what it's like for me to finish it like this.
Frankly, I feel a bit like a cheater, finishing on a cliffhanger, when I know it...

And that brings us to a close for this chapter.... Sorry to end it on a cliffhanger, but we really wanted to emphasise Jenny hitting an extreme low point here.

I'm currently planning to get back to work on this in June or July, aiming for publishing in the last three months of this year. Sadly, I can't make any promises. Life has a way of throwing about my plans. It is definitely not my intention to leave you all hanging as long as I did last time.

Commission - Changing time for the babies

Last few episodes, I focussed on the story aspect, cause the drawing aspect just wasn't all that interesting. ^_^ 

Let's get back to that a bit. I've told you this before: I got VERY comfortable drawing Delilah in the end. This sketched page shows that very well. The first panel, she's barely sketched, and genuinely, those few scribbles were all I needed for lining it.

The fifth panel even emphasises that: This WAS the sketch phase, and I needed to show this to Peculiar Chang...

I got back into a swing of drawing Jenny again in this page. Technically though, there's not much to get into.

So instead, let's go a bit into the storytelling. Specifically, past storytelling! 

We (Peculiar Changeling and I) knew we were going to have to hit Jenny's ultimate low point in this chapter. Until now, the entire story has been all fun and games. With the exception perhaps of her messing her diapers in the crowded mall, mostly her adventures have been amusing. Hell...

Poor Ginny was trapped in locking plastic pants. I'm sure Ron came up with the idea, since I think he inherited his dad's love for muggle things. Harry must have executed it, since I don't think Ginny would let anyone else put her diapers. :-D It was probably George who made it so the lock could not be opened by a simple "Alohamora" though. ^_^
The only onther one smart enough would be Hermione..... But she wouldn't....... would she?

I've come to really enjoy writing these 'behind the scenes' chapters for the comic, but in this case.... there's really not much to say! 

It's funny, but it had been close to about 10 months since I last drew Jenny regularly, and... it shows! I had a hard time getting her right, as is obvious in this first sketch.
Still, this happens quite a lot, and it's usually fixed in the lining phase.

So, here it is, the missing script page for page 8! As you can see, it contains A LOT of page 9.

I explained this in the previous episode of this series: I wanted more drama, more tension.
Now, when you want to convey then passing of time in a comic, one way to do that, is to add panels. Even if nothing happens in 'em. It'll imply the passage of time.
