Troika! PDF & POD

Fulfilling Fever Swamp is eating up more of my time than I hoped, but expect a bunch of backgrounds soon.

Poll #2

Gnosis is going well. After a slow start I've found my groove with them. What we're seeing now is still just blocking things out, building a general framework. Finished entries will require a number of drafts, the most important of which will only be possible when the entire list is populated and I'm able to compare and have them fight to the death over their respective bite.

So much for a weekly poll though. Call it kinda weekly? Shorter poll, get in the groove.

Devotion & Taboo

After some noodling gods are less broken. If you go and check the gnosis document you'll see that the rules are slightly more in place. The rough idea is that any starting character can decide to be a committed worshipper of some god or another and benefit from the taboos and devotions on offer. One will lose them luck, the other will regenerate it.

Luck for the devoted is a measurement of how much the gods love you. Literally.

Gnosis

Of all the working documents still active, this is the one that was least incorporated. You won't find much of it in the book.

Lots of work needed here. The general idea is to create a robust method of building convincing gods and exciting ways to interact with them. It's barely coherent but there is a clear way forwards.

Bestiary

Enemies are thin on the ground, I made just enough so it was obvious how you'd go about making more. This document doesn't have a single finished entry unfortunately.

The most recent plan with enemies was to create a series of chapbooks, each illustrated by a different artist. I've got artists lined up, they just need the monsters to draw. 

Rudder Poll #1

As promised, hands on the rudder. These are all things that need to be done in no particular order. If you're inclined one way or another let it be known, if you don't care what gets done just let it ride.

This'll run for the week and be for next week. This current week is me consolidating all the work on Troika! in to fewer, bigger lumps.

Peculiarities Master List

This thing, oof, this thing. It's the list most used and probably the list most loved. I have never had a player who hasn't rolled the maximum number of possible times on it. We work around the holes.

The way we do it is every new character is permitted to roll D666 on the list up to three times. No take-backs, but you can stop rolling. Backgrounds

This is the working document for backgrounds. It will have all the draft pieces in various states of decrepitude. Occasionally they'll make their way to the blog in order to quietly remind people that this exists, however most will stay in there until they're ready to be scooped up and turned in to a book. Somewhere around the 216 mark.
