It has come to my attention that some resellers seem to be selling the RP2040-Zero microcontrollers with non-genuine Raspberry Pi RP2040 chips. There were some bugs identified with the V1.0 firmware. One of which was causing some Windows 11 compatibility issues for a small number of Windows 11 users. As stated in my recent “License Changes” post, the $5 tier will no longer provide licenses starting 4/1/2024. It will instead provide Beta access to new TD-1 firmwares. New $10 tier

I have created a new tier that does essentially everything the old $5 tier used to do. If you are on the old tier and won’t have another payment before 4/1/2024 and want to still get licenses, this is the tier for you. If you don’t need licenses but want to contribute the max to the project this is also the tier for you. The collectData.py has been updated to also have only the extracted data. This version also implements a fix for the very low TD hang. The color samples have been lowered to 3 (from 5). The Alpha Firmware Is now up! This initial firmware is not going to interest everyone. It does not even give a TD value(this is due to the current calculation still needing adjustment). Along with this firmware, the is a companion python file(that runs on your PC) to connect to the TD-1 and extract raw data.
