1907 Itala 36/45 - Beta

A competitor has arrived to challenge the 1906 Renault! However, the 1907 Itala 36/45 is really down on power, and its top end is nearly 30 mph slower than the Renault. The Itala's only real chance at victory will be on tight circuits where drivers can use its 4 speed gearbox and slightly better brakes in an attempt to earn a tough win.

A Slight Change of Release Plans

Tomorrow I will be releasing the 1907 Itala 36/45 into early access. Then on March 1st I will be releasing the 1915 Ford Model T Speedster into early access as well.

The Itala is a rather rough mod as the 3d model needs to be redone. This is part of the reason I decided against releasing the 1906 Itala as it had a few even rougher points. But don't worry I'll be posting them both after they get some in depth revisions to their 3d models.

So I had an Idea for Another Pack...

So based on your suggestions I had an idea for a new set of cars (from the suggestion post for the Competitor and Champion tiers last week). The Blitzen Beasts pack! The pack will include cars based on the Blitzen Benz, the Beast of Turin, and the Durracq V8; as they were in 1913. I am thinking $5 for 3 cars and as a paid pack I can prioritize and push it out hopefully by Christmas!

1916 Duesenberg Indycar

We just finished the 3d model for the first car in the 1916 Indycar Pack (our first paid pack). It looks great! We have really been working to drop the poly counts, with this car coming in around 300k, so it'll be ready for great performance with large grids, online, and with VR.

Champion + Merch Tier: Merchandise Highlight

It didn't look like there were very many easy to see pictures of the merchandise, so I thought I'd post some pictures.

The final t-shirt design is still in development, but it will be a bright blue shirt with a somewhat abstract 1971 Indycar racing at you at a 45 degree angle, with the car disintegrating into a checkered flag flowing out behind it. 

Also, let me know if anyone would be interested in a Competitor + Merch Tier for $8.
