FILMING PHOTOS: SOUTHEND

Probably the most fun filming we've had in a while. And let's just say that the people of Southend are both very friendly and very curious... And they love cameras...

It's gonna be a good one.

BUBBLEGUN EP 20 - PREVIEW CLIP

On Monday, Bubblegun hits its 20th episode! Who would've thunk it? And to celebrate we're uniting two figures from across the history of all things Digi - Mr Nude and Beanus!

In this preview clip, Sanja is treated to a tour of Mr Nude's nudist camp, and his plan for an all-nude music festival...

EARLY ACCESS: BYAMPOD EP 147

If you skip the first 20 or so minutes, this episode settles down into a fun and slightly silly chat about some of the origins surrounding Marillion's F.E.A.R. album. However, it's hard to discuss the topics this album covers without touching on politics to some degree. And so, for better or worse, we do... Pray for us.

PATREON EXCLUSIVE: EXTENDED GHOST HUNT INTERVIEWS

Here are the extended versions of the interviews from our ghost hunt at the British Schools Museum! šŸ‘»

View Post

IT WORKED!

We’re in the process of uploading a bunch of deleted and extended footage from the Ghost Hunt. Should be with the upper tiers later.

Thank you to everyone who ā€œhypedā€ the video yesterday. At the minute, we’re at #6 in the UK Leaderboard, and #1 in travel. If you haven’t hyped us yet, please go to the channel and do so – today’s your final opportunity, as videos are only eligible in their first week. And it costs you nothing!

Amazingly, I think it actually had a positive effect – we’ve put on a bunch of subscribers and it has given the video a boost. The thing we've found is that - generally - when people watch our vids, they like them. It's just getting them in front of people that's the challenge.

I’m amazed to be honest; for once, YouTube has actually come up with something that seems to benefit small creators. No doubt the system will be open to abuse, and bots, and people starting multiple accounts just to hype themselves, but for now at least it has had a positive effect for us.

It was also nice just seeing everyone pull together like that – since Twitter became evil, it’s so rare to feel we’re united as a community these days. I’ll keep mentioning it, but there’ll be another chance on October 4th…

So, we’re off to sunny Southend tomorrow to pick up with our city series. We’ve decided that wrapping our videos in ā€œtravelā€ is going to give us the best chance of success – especially for now, where we’re essentially training YouTube’s algorithm to know where to place us. However, that’s only really a delivery method for our nonsense, in the same way video games were only ever a delivery method for Digitiser’s nonsense. Southend is going to be a good example of how far we can push the definition of a travel video.

Put me in a box and I'll scrawl all over the walls...

NUMBER 53 IN THE UK ALREADY!

No idea if it'll help, but thank you to everyone who has hyped so far. Let's keep it going!

HYPE-ME-DO! Help us...

Hola, gang.

First, huge apologies – but we’ve had to rejig our week. We were meant to be filming tomorrow, but it’s going to be peeing it down where we’re going. Normally wouldn’t be an issue, but I need to take the drone up for this one. Having already ruined one drone this year by getting it wet, I literally can’t afford to take the risk.

So… we’re filming Thursday instead, which means the Zoom quiz will need to be postponed. We’ll move it to next week instead. I’ll confirm the date before the end of the week, but it’ll probably be that last weekend of September. Probably Sunday 28th.

Sorry – we’re really limited on available dates this month. I’ve drawn a line in the sand and going to be instructing all friends and family to leave us alone for the whole of October. It has been like this since June! I guess we're just too damn delightful.

IMPORTANT BIT!

In other news… I don’t know if you’ve seen, but YouTube has this new hype feature thing for small channels. Basically, you can ā€œhypeā€ a small creator’s video that has been uploaded in the past 7 days, and if it gets enough hype it’ll be included on a new leaderboard on YouTube’s homepage. You need to do it through the YouTube app, but basically… let’s see what happens if you ALL hype the new ghost hunting video.

Click the video above on your phone, give it a hype - BEFORE FRIDAY - then step back. Let’s see! Everyone gets three hype points; you can use them all at once, or spread them about. Obviously, we think you should use them all at once on our ghost hunting vid.

LASTLY...

Also… we’re slightly wrestling with another issue. We’ve learned that if a video has been given to supporters of a small channel early, it doesn’t count the initial views when deciding whether to push it out when it’s made public.

We had quite a lot of early access views with the Ghunting video, which seems to have somewhat stifled it, despite it being EXCELLENT. Not sure what the solution is right now, but just giving you a heads up that we might have to look at options there. Compare it to the Nottingham vid - over 10k - which barely any of you watched before it went public.

Anyway, that's all. More stuff soon. Thanks in advance for the hype!

MONDAY BLOG: HAPPY HAPPY

Morning all! Happy Monday.

You might’ve noticed, but Bubblegun is late; it’ll be up this afternoon. I think most of you listen throughout the week anyway, rather than when it first goes up. Soz. Last week was taken up with editing the Ghunt, then we saw family at the weekend. You'll get a Writer's Club and Bubblegun Extra too.

Weirdly enough, we went for a picnic in Woollaton Park on Saturday, where we’d gone to look for gnomes a month or so back.

Talking of podcasts… you can listen to the new Channel84 Variety Show pod with Tom who organised the Ghunt. And, of course, it gets a mention. As it does in the new Dan Does video, which I am reliably informed will be up later today.

We’re hopefully filming this week, but it won’t be out for the general populace until next week. Speaking of, I think we’re going to move Paul and Sanja vids back to Thursdays, as we do seem to be colliding with Cheapshow.

Oh! And we’re doing a Super Quiz for EVERYONE on here this Thursday at 7.30pm. Put it in your calendar.

AND NOW…

So… you’ve probably noticed that the videos we’ve uploaded to the new channel have been… well… not big, heavy, documentary ones like we had been doing for a while. This has surprised the both of us. I honestly thought that’s the direction we’d end up taking, but… creativity is a strange thing, and I find it’s at the whim of where my head’s at.

Bubblegun was meant to be the outlet for the silly side, and when we started I thought it might be a reach… but it has proven to be WAY more enjoyable and ridiculous than I expected. In terms of it being just sheer unfiltered me, it’s closer to Found Footage than anything else I’ve done.

I don’t want to generalise – we’re all wired differently and we all have our own process, I guess – but I find it very, very hard to force content if I’m not feeling it. With writing scripts for other people, I’ve been doing it long enough that the skills part takes over – and, obviously, getting paid is a great motivator.

But when it comes to MY stuff… which I want to be authentic, the only way I can do it is to make it a reflection of where I’m at. I don’t want to put things out into the world that don’t come from a place of truth and authenticity. Creating stuff for me is about the joy of making it – if I’ve had to force it in any way, then it becomes a job. If I can even do it at all.

Yes, we rely on our Patreon income, but most of you – I think – are here to support me making authentic content, even if it’s not always for you.

It’s no big surprise that now we are doing BYAMPOD again, I’m getting to do the research I love, and the more serious/big idea side of my brain is being satisfied. This seems to have allowed me to play more when it comes to the videos and Bubblegun.

But… bigger than that, it’s just a reflection of where I’m at. Digi’s content over the past couple of years was made during the toughest, darkest, times of my life. It’s inevitable that it ended up morphing into something it hadn’t been. I found it hard to park all that, and just create without it being an influence. With my TV career grinding to a halt, I think I felt angry at the world, and that was reflected in what we made.

I needed to make those doco videos though. I couldn't make anything else at the time. I'm immensely proud of all of them.

The TV presenter Sarah Cawood - she used to present Top of the Pops and other things back in the 90s - did a post on Instagram the other day (I don't follow her; I read about it somewhere else). She's the same age as me, and was tearfully saying about how work has dried up for her, and she feels redundant. That's how I was feeling: surplus to requirements. Past it. Discarded. And because of the content we were making, I felt even the audience we'd grown didn't want me either.

I could really relate to what she was saying, and it has helped me feel less alone in it. Middle Age is tougher than I expected in that way; for many of us it's a series of ego deaths and rude awakenings. It's a time of reinvention, and re-prioritising,

But I understand that better now. I'm no longer in that place of darkness - I've had work this summer, thankfully, which helps - but also I've just reached the other side of where I was, I think. Thankful for what I have, not simply mourning what I've lost. Frankly, even with half of what we've been through, it's a miracle I held it together at all.

We've a great community both here and beyond Patreon. We had some really lovely comments on the Ghunting video, and it rammed home that we're at our most valuable when we're bringing just a little bit of joy into lives. I know some of you found us during Covid times, and say we helped you get through. I hope we can do that again.

There’s always room for improvement in any life – it’s a work in progress – but the fact we’re putting out videos that are lighter, sillier, and more playful is the best indicator I can think of that life is in a better place at last.

Money could be better. The Covid years, followed by the TV industry implosion, buggered us up in a big way. We’re still kind of broke – and don’t have much for extra little luxuries. We're still kind of in a holding pattern with my mum, for as long as she's still with us.

But overall we’re thankful for what we have.

I don’t think we’re done with documentary-style videos yet. We have a couple kind of ready to go, when we can find the time. But I’m also now thinking about them differently – wanting to approach them in ways that are more fun, and have more of our trademark style to them.

The world is heavy and bleak and scary right now, and I’m not sure we’re achieving anything by adding to that. I’m happy to provide some escapism and hope again.

So, why even bother with a new channel? Why not just upload to the old one? Why sacrifice all those subscribers, the potential views, etc. etc.? Because, again, it’s not about numbers really. We do this because we enjoy it, and hope that enough of you enjoy it that we can afford to keep making them. And, frankly, because there’s so much bloody baggage on the old channel that it has poisoned the well a bit.

Seeing the subs on Paul and Sanja ticking up is gratifying - just to have people there who are there for us, not hanging on in the hope of seeing other people or video game content.

Anyway. Right. Hope is the word for the week. Off to get Bubblegun sorted for y'all. Hope to see some of you at Chunky Fringe. Less than three weeks away now!

IT IS TIME...

Firstly, no BYAMPOD this week. Sorry - I was deep in the edit for the new Paul and Sanja video. We'll be back next week. The absurd nonsense of Bubblegun will be up on Monday as usual!

Secondly, a reminder that we're doing another Zoom quiz for all Patron members next Thursday at 7.30pm. The last one was a lot of fun, so hope plenty of you can make it. There'll be a link and reminders closer to the time.

And lastly... our "terrifying" new video is up now for everyone! Sorry about the very YouTube-y thumbnails, but needs must.

If you're able to leave a comment, hit the like - all those things - it really helps push it out in the first couple of days (even if you don't get to watch right away - I know there's tons of stuff competing for your time).

And as I've said before, at some point we'll put together more group day out videos and give more of you a chance to be in one. It gives this one a really lovely gang feel. Not, like, gang violence. But... well... y'know. We might even film a little something at Chunky Fringe on October 4th if you're coming...

EARLY ACCESS: We Set a Ghost Free Inside a Haunted School...

Here it is... a very, very early Halloween special, kind of - co-starring Dan Does and a whole bunch of Patrons. Plus two of my oldest friends!

This one gave us a bit of a lovely warm feeling - and there's even a twist at the end. Hope you all like it as much as we do (though sorry about some of the camera interference in a some of the scenes; it was probably a ghost).

As always, even if you don't manage to watch the whole thing right away, leaving a comment over the next couple of days would be really helpful to push it out. Thanks, gang. Love you. Bye!

TONIGHT: NEW VIDEO!

Hola, Patrons! Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet this week; had my head down editing. The good news is… there’ll be a new video hopefully tonight, once it’s uploaded. I honestly think this one is a real treat, whether you’re sceptic or believer.

We had originally planned it for Halloween, but given we’re a bit behind – thanks to Sanja’s dodgy leg – we’re going to put it out early. But… we’ve planned another spooky ep to coincide with Halloween.

It was a challenging one for us to film. We don’t always find it easy when we’ve got an audience – though everyone who came along was very respectful and gave us the space to do our ā€œfiguring outā€.

On top of that, I’d not had a ton of sleep over the preceding week, I’d had an upsetting visit with my mum the night before - which was still hanging over me - and then one of our party had a medical emergency and an ambulance had to be called. Everything turned out fine in the end, but we were worried and thrown off, especially during the first section of the night before he’d been given the all-clear.

Not that you’ll notice any of this in the video itself! Which is just pure fun. And you have to watch riiiiight to the end…

Loads of people need to be thanked for this – especially Ben Jackson, Tori Baker, Steve Baker, Pseudosapien, Kathy Holloway for calling the ambulance, and especially T.J. who not only did all the organising but helped Tori with the medical situation.

And of course… Dan Does, who was brilliant, even if he still isn’t used to Mr Biffo being a deliberately grumpy egomaniac when he’s on camera.

Right. Brace yourselves. Wear your stiffest undergarments. And prepare for terror.

POST-HUNT...

I was in bed at 5.30pm last night. And that was after falling asleep on the sofa for 90 minutes during the afternoon.

The ghost hunt is going to be a really tricky edit. For most of it, we were going round with Dan Does, but we’ll need to sync his sound to our footage (you can only sync two DJI mics to the camera at once).

Then we have a separate night vision camera that needs syncing. Then we have everyone else’s footage that we need to go through, and we need time for that to come in.

Plus… Sanja and I were both pretty hyper – lots of people, not enough sleep, too many painkillers… so editing around our own highly activated ADHD and sort of… discombobulation will be a challenge! Unless that becomes the video. Which I think it might. If you know what I mean.

So! Tomorrow or Wednesday we’re going to film the original video that we had planned before Sanja’s leg went all funny, and you’ll likely get that first.

Also, we want to do a Super Quiz this month with all of you on Zoom. We think, potentially Thursday 18th should work - so pencil that in.

And in other news… there’s a new Bubblegun up today featuring Action Man. We reckon it’s a good one.

We've deactivated ads on the podcast for now, as I know for some of you - and Sanja - they were distracting. I don't like having them, but at the same time we need to sort of justify the time it takes to put together. Thankfully, we seem to be getting new Patrons again - after a ropey year in that respect - so we'll see how things go...!

Anyway. It's time for you to meet D.A.: The Disgusting Ape.

GHUNT: GHUNTED

Didn't get to take a lot of photos last night, but the ghost hunt had been put together brilliantly by TJ, and a splendid time was had by all.

If you missed out... we're going to try to organise another get-together at some point - but don't forget there's a further chance to hang out with us all in less than a month: October 4th at the free Chunky Fringe, taking place at Harrow Arts Centre. Details in the link. Don't miss out, because it should be a day to remember.

By the time we got home at 3.30am, I'd been awake for roughly 24hrs - such is my terrible sleep schedule at the moment. I was knackered before we even showed up, and spent most of the evening in a bit of a daze. We're not sure that simultaneously filming AND socialising was entirely compatible with that little sleep, but some weird stuff WAS caught on camera... albeit not by Sanja and I.

The only disappointment was that Beanus was meant to show up, but unfortunately we stupidly left something very important at home, so he had to stay on the sidelines this time. He'll be back.

We've a lot of footage to filter through - and need to somehow hammer it into some sort of narrative - so bear with us, but we'll get it to you as soon as possible.

Huge thanks to everyone who attended - this was our attempt to say thank you for all the support we get on Patreon. We feel utterly blessed, and we'll keep trying to find ways to give back what we feel you all give us - whether you were there last night or not. We literally couldn't afford to make our videos and podcasts without you, but what really makes the difference is just that you have our backs. Knowing there are people out there who enjoy what we do is what keeps us going.

Talking of giving back, Ben Jackson did a run of amazing Ghunt t-shirts, and we had some left over. We'll do a giveaway this week, once we've sorted out our heads and had a little rest.

Whasaaaaaaap!

EARLY ACCESS: BYAMPOD EP 146

I don't normally recommend non-Marillion fans to listen to BYAMPOD, but there's probably a lot in this episode that you might find interesting; from the fallout over some of this year's YouTube videos and why we're avoiding politics on our new channel, to why I wouldn't be able to make my BBC3 pilot Biffovision today.

We do also dig into the potential impact of AI on the music industry before tackling the thorny issue of whether Marillion has ever been a political band - and if they'd be able to release the track Gaza in the current climate... It's the beginning of the road to F.E.A.R...!

NOTTINGHAMIAN RHAPSODY

Happy September!

I used to say Autumn was my favourite time of year, then I decided that I prefer summers, and then summers got too hot and now I think I prefer Autumn again.

Fascinating.

Firstly, I want to give a shout-out to a new podcast by my friend Steve - you might know him better as teletext legend Horsenburger. If you like all things spooky and paranormal, Boo-Foons should be right up your street. Find it in all the usual podcast places.

Suffice to say, it's far less Marmite than today's unhinged episode of Bubblegun...

Hilariously, our recent Nottingham video continues to get views in part because we seem to have upset a whole bunch of Nottinghamians (I looked it up: this is what they’re called apparently). No idea if we got shared somewhere that they all congregate, but ohhh... the hate-watches we've had! I’ve left some of the comments in place, and had been enjoying winding them up, but I had to hide a few because they crossed some lines. So, now we can add Nottingham to the list along with Amiga owners.

Is it bad that I enjoy it when we – well, I – annoy people that seem to have had a sense of humour bypass? Especially when they entirely miss the fact we were actually very nice about their city?

I mean, the entire rest of the country shits constantly on London and it doesn’t remotely bother me. Yes, that’s sometimes driven by a lot of misinformation and a certain smallminded bigotry – which does bother me - but it’s not like London doesn’t have its issues. I haven’t been into central London in forever because I find it all too overwhelming these days… but that's not because the place has become some sort of no-go-zone ruled by Sharia law (like certain people would have you to believe). There aren't roaming squads of Woke Police shutting down free speech.

At the same time, I’m proud to say I’m from London… even if, technically, I’m right on the fringes of it, with one foot in a juicy swathe of greenbelt. I often get accused of living in a ā€œLondon bubbleā€ – the implication being that we’re all liberal softy elites down here, and that we don’t have a clue about the issues preoccupying the rest of the country. That’s clearly part of why we’ve had some shitty comments of late, because I think they see the title, see the intro, hear my accent, and think ā€œHow dare he come here and have opinions our home!? What does he know?!ā€

That said, there IS a degree of truth in the whole London bubble thing. My youngest moved down to Brighton, which is probably far more liberal even than London, but my eldest daughter moved up to Lincolnshire and married a local. Things are different up there. But also... not that different, y'know.

Come on, rest of the country: there are enough reasons not to like me without adding where I live to the list.

Anyway. All good fun.

IT'S SUNDAY EVENING!

Yes it is. Sorry to remind you all. Hope you've had a nice weekend.

Here’s something that put a smile on my face yesterday: I was scrolling through Reddit, and stopped on a post about the dreadful Aliens Vs Predator films. They were, as you might recall, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson – who also did the Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil adaptations. Back in the day on Digi, we coined a nickname for him: Paul ā€œBad Filmā€ Anderson.

Anyway, I was reading through the post and was delighted to find someone refer to him as – yes – Paul ā€œBad Filmā€ Anderson. That put a big smile on my face.

Always weird and pleasing when I see Digi things pop up in the wild, and that - even 30-odd years on - it's still part of some people's lexicon.

Aaaanyway…

This is just to say that David Walford has updated the Chunky Fringe website with new details. You can read that here: https://www.arbitraryfiles.com/events/cf25/index.html

And we hope to see some of you there in just over a month's time, for a nice get together and lots of the usual madness. It's free for pity's sake!

We were meant to be filming tomorrow, but Sanja’s still having leg problems. The twisted ankle she had las week has – as these things often do – caused a pinched nerve further up the leg, so walking is painful. Given we’ve a biiiiiiiiiig video to do on Saturday, that we absolutely have to do and will require a lot of walking, we don’t want her to push it. So, we’ve pencilled in Tuesday or Wednesday for filming instead, but we’ll play it by ear. You’ll still get stuff this week one way or another.

Including an utterly batshit Bubblegun tomorrow…

We've found a great angle for next weekend's ghost hunt that, I think, nobody has done before - and will make this different to other "supernatural worlds" that we've covered. We've been watching a bunch of ghost hunting things to see how other people do them, and... in all honesty, I end up raging at the screen. For me it's the content equivalent of someone telling me their dream, so we've been studying them to see how we either subvert or completely up-end what has become a very solid bunch of predictable cliches now. That said, I did buy a cheap night vision camera...

Anyway. Right. Send positive healing energy to Sanja's leg, and hope you all have a good start to the week!

THURSDAY EVENING WAFFLE POST - MORE PATREON DAYS OUT?

Evenin’ all.

We’ve just recorded next week’s Bubblegun. And man… you are not ready. If you thought the Dalek one was weird, you’ve heard nothing yet…

We think we’re recording a couple of videos next week. I mean, we’re definitely doing our ghost hunt, but possibly another before then. That’ll be another city vid, in the ongoing, on-and-off, series. Which city? Wait and see! It’s somewhere I haven’t been to since I was 16.

We’re planning at least a couple of videos for Halloween – with October being ā€˜spooky month’ on the channel.

Now... having had a think, we’re not going to move any more videos over to the new channel. Doing so with the Lincoln one – though we’re happy to have the city vids all in one place – seems to have kicked the momentum out of things (at least in terms of views; subs are still climbing). Obviously, most of you had seen it already, and that seemed to have a knock-on effect with the algorithm. Instead, I’ve made them all public again on Digitiser, and we’ll just forge ahead on Paul And Sanja with new stuff only.

I’ll be honest, while it’s LOVELY to have a new YouTube home where – for the most part – people are enjoying what we’re doing (unless you come from Nottingham apparently; they’re very touchy about Robin Hood), it kind of sucks that we were left with no option but to start again.

Now it does feel like all those videos - that did so well, and we were so proud of - are outliers on Digitiser. With them stuck over there they’re not going to help the new channel grow, and we're all too aware that they're not what a big section of Digi subscribers want. I'd love to have all the content in the right place, but it feels like all that time and effort over the past couple of years was now a waste.

And we’re still getting comments on there like this:

And we had one on the Hellfire Caves video from someone saying something like all it did was make them want a Barshens video where they stay overnight in the caves! Can't post it here because I deleted it in a fit of pique.

But anyway. It is what it is, even though it sucks that we can't escape it.

We'll be seeing some of you on Biffo's Brain later tonight. And some of you in person for the ghost hunt next week. I was considering the other day that we should do more Patreon days out where we all club together and get somewhere to ourselves. Doesn't have to be another ghost hunt, but if you've any suggestions for locations - or group activities - that would make for a good video, let us know in the comments.

BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY UPDATE

Morrrrrning all. Happy Bank Holiday Monday. I’ve been working so far today, so solidarity with anybody else who is. Probably won’t do a full day though.

You don’t need to know this.

New Bubblegun up now. It’s my favourite ep so far. It was Sanja's least favourite to record, second only to Knack-Knack...

And please go comment on the new Paul and Sanja video if you’re able. It’s off to a slow start – probably due to going up on the Sunday of a Bank Holiday weekend. Also, I’m not sure whether our audience sustains a weekly schedule (for videos anyway - Bubblegun and BYAMPOD are pretty consistent). Every time we’ve experimented with doing that, it’s diminishing returns. But... a touch of interaction with the audience will give it a better chance.

But! Our main goal at the minute is just building up a back catalogue for people to get to know us, and – by god – it makes all the difference being somewhere that the audience is seeing the content they signed up for. It's worth all the views in the world.

Oh! We forgot to include it in the video, but we also got some postcards from the caves. Leave a comment here if you’d like one.

In other news… there’s a bit in the new video where Sanja almost slips over (and, inevitably, I laugh uproariously). That part became a little less funny afterwards, because that evening Sanja really did slip over, and badly twisted her ankle. It swelled up like a watermelon, and we thought we were going to have to take her for an X-Ray. She spoke to a nurse and – thankfully - it isn’t broken, but she can’t really do much. Just as well we hadn’t planned to film this week.

We are doing our ghost hunt next week, and hoping she’ll be okay for that. If not, I’m hiring her a mobility scooter.

I also want to apologise that I’ve been a bit lax in replying to comments of late. The weekly schedule - on top of two podcasts - has been demanding (and that's all on top of day job stuff) and it’s just hard to keep up. I do love reading everything though. And it's not just you lot - I'm behind on text messages and emails as well.

At some point, we’ll pull back slightly to a more manageable schedule with vids, and I’ll have a tad more headspace. We also need to carve out some room for a couple of bigger videos – I do kind of wish we’d been able to give the Hellfire Caves a bit more time and done a deeper dive. A bit more of a documentary feel. I kept finding out more stuff once we came back, and we did almost consider going back to do some more filming today. But, alas, Sanja’s foot didn’t really allow it. Sanja thinks we should do a follow-up video podcast in which we discuss it all in a bit more depth, buuuut… let’s see how well the main video does.

I mentioned we'll do a Biffo's Brain this week, so we'll go for our usual Thursday. Pencil it in!

And I think that's all the housekeeping. I'll leave you all alone now to enjoy your barbecues, or county fairs, or whatever it is you're up to today. Have a good one, gang.

NEW VIDEO: THE HELLFIRE CAVES...

Here you go. Again. Enjoy!

Geoffrey Easton reminded me we said we'd do a Biffo's Brain tonight. In all honesty... we completely forgot. Sorry, gang. But we're not filming this week, so we should have time. I'll let you know tomorrow which evening.

HELL'S BELLS!

Hello Patrons!

Firstly, sorry about the confusion over the ep last night. Basically, I rushed because I wanted you to have it early. And then when we were watching it back, aaand… there was a big section that was all jumbled with overlapping audio, and on-screen text that was meant to be a voice-over. I am a fooooool.

I’ve fixed it, and it’s re-uploading now. It’ll be up about 1-ish this afternoon. Alas, you won’t have a ton of time to watch it before everyone else, but there’s a small window if you want to get in early. We'll make it up to you.
