Orc Heist Guide Update

Hey there folks, I got an update to the guide to Orc Heist for you, this one has the various sex scenes found in the resort. Since there's a lot more possibilities in the resort that involve each other, some things are grouped together under the same event header.

I have the guide here with three different file types, so it should work for everyone! :D 

By the nature of a pure text document, the .txt file does not have the maps, so look out for that.

Update & Ultimatum

There's 13 days left on the poll, but unless there's a major upset, it looks like the next area in Orc Heist is gonna be the orc castle itself, filled with tricks and traps.

Sound, GOH Guide, and More!

Hey folks! Lots to go over today!

Firstly, I've gotten the first 2 parts of the Orc Heist guide done for you guys. It has maps for the two major areas as well as an event guide for the city area. The event guide for the resort is coming soon!

Since Orc Heist is EXTREMELY non-linear, a guide telling you exactly what to do is impossible, so instead there's a short blurb on how to trigger each event, as well as any events directly related to them.

Sound Process

While the boys are working on the last songs and the sounds, I thought I'd go into the process for you guys, to make stuff a little clearer.

Early Takes

For today, I got a couple early takes for the chase music! It makes the mood leading into the rest of the game, so it has to hit the right spot. Fann and Rone are working hard on this, and Fann is also doing sound effects while Rone is doing short songs for the beginning of each chapter. Our sound team is busy as hell right now and I'm really proud of em!

Schedule for the Rest of October

Hey guys. So, the voice effects for the sex scenes, the background sounds, and the final song for the Motel level won't be in my hands until later this week, and that's far too late for me to get those in and do all the testing necessary for Zap and Andy to be released this month. To make it up to you guys, I'm pulling 12 hour shifts until Friday to make an Orc Heist level for you.

OGG Sounds

Hey guys! I got a bunch of new audio bits for you today! We've started using OGG instead of MP3 for looping sounds since it loops better. I decided to give you guys a zipped folder of all OGG sounds so far, both new and old. Enjoy!

Bugfix Update

here's a small update to Orc Heist that fixes some bugs I was made aware of. The biggest thing is that it should be much easier to obtain the explosives from the kitchen and see ending scenes for the hotel.

Quick Orc Heist Drop

Hey dudes, have a quick short orc heist update! It corrects a couple bugs that came to my attention, nothing gigantic. I figured since you guys are the 10 dollar supporters, you should get access to this a bit earlier.

The main fix is making it much easier to get the explosives from the hotel kitchen, meaning you can see the associated sex scene and area ending with less hassle.

More Sounds

Got a few more sounds for you guys today! A menu noise, the sound of Zap's motorcycle running, and Piercer getting banged by a demon. Enjoy! :D

Kabooms

Got a couple more sound effects for ya! One is the explosion of Zap's motorcycle and Piercer's truck at the beginning of the game, and the other is the compressed explosion for Zeke's arrival at the end of the demo!

In addition to this, our musician Rone and Fann, the musician for Strange Flesh, are in the talks for doing a collab, a high intensity chase song for the end of the demo!

Public Orc Heist Build

Heya folks! This is a build of Orc Heist for everyone! It's based on a build given to patrons a little while ago, Version 0.32.

Orc Heist is a game that my patrons voted on, picking it's design. Orcs were EXTREMELY popular, so I thought I have the game heavily feature orcs, though the world has all sorts of races, including minotaurs, gnomes, and demons in addition to the orcs.

Short one today, cuz until the Zap and Andy demo comes out, it's all I'm working on this month!

Fann of Strange Flesh fame is going to be helping me with sound starting on Sunday, so it will go even faster than anticipated!

Sound Effects

Got a few sound effect files for you guys today, as well as a short vid showing some in action! I'm getting some of the big sequences out of the way first since they require the most amount of timing.

With this most repeatable actions have sounds programmed in, I just gotta add something for clicking on the menu buttons.

I'll keep you guys updated on this stuff and try to regularly give you some sounds.

An additional thing, I think I'm going to start making outdated orc heist builds public, to try and draw some additional people in and get my work out there more. Paying patrons will still get the most up to date versions of the game, public people will get a version of the game from a few months ago, every few months. So not up to date, and nowhere near as often. You guys still get the best of the best.

New build!

Two things about this new build!

1: You need to use an item to see the roof scene.

2: When you finish the roof scene, you're taken back to the mainland and the resort becomes marked as complete.

Quick Update

Hey guys! The resort area is pretty much finished, and 10 dollar folks will get to play it today, while everyone else will have access to it on Friday!

With this out of the way, I'm gonna dedicate the rest of the month to working on the sound design of Zap and Andy.

There's a new sex scene on the roof of the resort, and this one includes some elements I've been asked to use more of. (BDSM)

Saturday Update

Hey people, I'm starting to feel a little better, so lets get down to business.

Sick Update

Hey guys, I came down with something so I'm moving the big update to tomorrow. I'm really sorry to do this, but I've had a pounding headache for the last few days and have been kinda bedridden.

Tomorrow is gonna have two updates, one with Orc Heist content, and another discussing Zap and Andy's development, and a change I've made to the gameplay to drastically speed up development in the future.

Tuesday Update

Just a quick one today folks, giving you an update on what I'm working on!

I've compiled the comprehensive sound effect list required for the game, so now it's just creating them and slotting them in!

I'm also gonna be spending the next couple days finishing up the last two sections of the resort level in orc heist. 10 dollar and up folks will have a chance to try it this Friday! :D

Home Stretch Time

Got some progress, and a little extra bit of cut content for you today!

I'm 100% certain I'm gonna be completely done with adding the extra lines and bug fixing list I got by this Friday, in fact, all that's left line wise is:

1. A few hints given by Gary.

2. Zap and Andy's banter with each other.

3. Some replacement lines for the drug trip section to add some foreshadowing for later.
