Sound Process
Added 2020-11-10 23:47:19 +0000 UTCWhile the boys are working on the last songs and the sounds, I thought I'd go into the process for you guys, to make stuff a little clearer.

We use a google document to put all the necessary information together, including how many versions we need, a description of what the sound is, and even the file name so it matches existing sounds. The column on the left is the sounds priority. Priority 1 sounds are things that play constantly, very important for the game experience. 2 is sounds that only play once or twice. Jarring if not there, but not experience ruining. 3 is background loops, stuff that only plays a single time and doesn't really have a gigantic impact. The thing on the right is dropbox links showing where the sound will play. The redded out stuff is more sensitive info.
Making music at the moment is a little looser, since its less of slotting in something to capture something specific, and more making something that fits the mood.

this scene is one hell of a rollercoaster, so capturing the mood is a bit tricky. They're working hard on it though! I'm attaching the video version of this reference to this post.
I'll be back with you guys on Friday, have a great week and stay safe!
