...honestly I haven't done any fanart to games in a very long while.
First of all, thanks to you guys I managed to passively earn enough for this thanks to you guys and in such a short time too, which is WILD compared to the last few years I'm working as an artist.
A few days ago I managed to somehow obtain a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which is what I heard to be a good drawing tablet so I got it and found an ideal drawing app for me to draw on called Infinite Painter.
Lately, my feeling of wanting to draw digitally outside of my work PC has been increasing and I've been giving the opportunity to do so by happenstance and I just... commit. It's nearing my birthday anyway, so it's justified?
This is my first piece on that one. It's not as large as my original art, but I think this fulfills my itch greatly. I will definitely tell you, the difference between working on the PC vs the tablet is pretty huge.
One thing is for sure, I don't think I'll be buying something this expensive for a good while. I am satisfied in the meantime unless some neat new tech comes up. Most likely invest in having a better living space or equipment that helps with streaming.

With the roll out of stickers on Discord, you can also use* some of them as high-quality emotes as exaggeration~

Right now we're lessening priority on this one to prioritize the wiki and another Furria-related project.
My time has been dedicated on other things, but we were actually gathering up things that we need to tackle for the wiki transition to be smooth and not forget crucical detail.
I actually got myself a team passively working on this and hopefully we could progress even without my reliance.
Remember this? Heck yeah we're continuing development on this one!
It has been two years.
With my experience from the game jam working with a friend, we decided to continue progress on this one~ However, we're actually gonna transfer it from using Game Maker Studio 2 to Godot.
There's a lot of pain with making this in GMS2, such as a fixed framerate and programming collisions. Godot saves a lot of time with that, along with a lot of possible optimizations we could make than workarounds.
(No more clunky input detection system!)

Typyl in Fiagia have access to storage called the Arcitory, where it uses the body as the storage medium.
Items must be manually placed through a medium called the Arcpouch first before they can be summoned.
This was done too late in the night for it to be worth publishing at the time of this being posted here. Typical of #FurriaFridays to flubb already... This is also the second to be published from the draft set.
By the way, starting from 2021, the canvas resolution of #FurriaFridays is doubled! This applies to last weeks~
In addition to what was said, any item stored in the Arcitory has its weight reduced by 1/6. However, the weight of the arcitory will slow down the body by that much as well. So if you have too much storage in your body, you can't even move an inch.
In that case, you need someone or paid attention to inventory management. Otherwise, you'd be stuck there or force yourself into downstate.

On the other end of the spectrum, we got the magical side of things. Also, this is a warm-up!
This is Shurian, who is harnessing the power of their aspect to achieve a pure elemental form, albeit for as long as their body could handle before reverting back.
In Furria, there's a furrial class associated with this: Elemaia. Elemaia synchronizes their affinity with the aspects, achieving an ephemeral state. However, this does require only having an affinity of only one Elemental Aspect of their choosing and a lot of concentration to achieve this form.
Once achieved, future attempts at calling at this ephemeral call will be easier, and able to be called manually by triggering sorcia.
Shurian is sadly the founder of the class, so the knowledge of this class starts out very limited in the earlier founding of this class.

What should've been a warm-up turned into part style analysis and style experimentation.
Since I barely draw any robot parts, this is a really good chance to experiment with them! This took the whole work day!
The style analysis this time around is Lord Yan, which is one of the main influences with the design around augmentals!
So here's Kaiera with active full-body augmentals!
..which is different from what Kaiera has from last time.
As you can see, active full-body augmentals smooth out any exposed part, like the tail, giving it a protective coat. It also hides any body part that you specify, in this case, the upper arms.
However, it does not stretch out the detached parts unless you spend a bit more energy, so it only goes as far as where they are originally placed as if those hidden parts are not hidden at all.
Kaiera's augmentals only really enhance jet propulsion and sorcia efficiency in addition to the general protection that augmentals do from the elements.

Also, there are inconsistencies from last time.
The armor here is actually the more up-to-date one. The main difference here is actually how the X's on the designs are displayed. They're placed in diamonds instead! Oh, and the legs too.
Most chairs in Fiagia are designed to factor in any height.
Thus, a lot of chairs' bases have a system where the height can be adjusted, whether it's using passive levitation sorcia or a piston system.
The first #FurriaFridays entry for 2021. Finally got the time to do these. Sadly, this one is a simultaneous release but I do want to pre-draw entries to take up next month.
So why not a simple concept and finish up what I drew from last year?
This is about chairs... that's it. I think the concept is simple enough to understand. You can control the height of the chair by "sensing" it to adjust to the height you choose.
Some chairs can actually dislocate akin to office chairs with wheels but can snap back to their original position should the person leave the chair alone after a while.

I didn't really want to say I'm participating, but here it is~
I learned a bit of color balancing from Coffeefly and thought of applying it here. Also, this is actually one of the first pieces I ever made that's higher in resolution! Compared to my art before with a base of 3000px, this one started with a base of 4000px~
I also tried to try a different background style here than what I used to do to fit my outlines on my art... I think I want to fully render this, actually. We'll see!

All Kaimotes are done! ...but not some emotes. Over the course of the month, the emotes will be updated on the Discord server.
You still won't have access to the new original files just yet in the fear of them being stolen, but the older ones are all uploaded in the archive+ for you to use! (As long as you're the server owner)
FiaD6 is pretty much Furria D&D.
We're changing the original system for this to Cogent Roleplay, as it has everything that FiaD6 is striving to go for and we will start making progress on it.
So, it would end up a module for that, and will save time and headache from balancing all of it.
We're currently trying to improve the Furria Wiki, this time a new iteration in a more familiar software you could see akin to Wikipedia and Fandom.
This time we're aiming with more complete information on this, starting with the locations. In fact, most of the locations are done!
We do have a hidden wiki link accessible to editors but I don't want to share that yet as most of the information from the original wiki is missing.

This year I do want to test my mettle with working with a team, so, on time, during my week off, I did Ludum Dare, conveniently timed at that.
But what is Ludum Dare, you ask? It's a 48-hour game jam where you make everything from scratch. However, this entry is for the jam, which makes it a 72-hour run but allows me more freedom, along with the allowance for teams.

I've been doing nothing but experiments before but now I think I am confident to work there properly now.

π§ This is Behind the Stuffs!
This piece specifically is something that is a bit more special to me compared to the other art and it's something I didn't even notice until making Arky's sketch page. This is done right after that, to prove what I was doing is correct... as a wind-down done too much...
...and it shows! I apparently improved in posing characters and getting some anatomy down. So, instead of just standing there, they're actually bent slightly towards the railing, giving weight to that. That's some subtle detail there.
Of course I do want to prove that but there are 3 images for a reason. It's the same piece of art, but 3 attempts, done in reverse order.
1. This is the initial draft, (aka image #3 in the post) showing a Kaiera without their glasses. I stopped this one when I realized they're sized differently compared the reference.
2. This is the second attempt. If fixed the proportions to what I intended in the first place, but in this attempt I ignored what I was doing in the first place in favor of proportions, losing its charm that I wanted to show in the first place.
3. The final attempt (aka image #1) which fixes all of that, and a bit more. I did want to try my hand at outlining the environment this time and I think it worked good.
Yes, this is literally a moment where I scrap a finished piece because I was literally not satisfied.
Either way, it was really fun to do this, including the do-overs!

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the release of YonKaGor's Dandelion.
This song means a lot to me.
As my day was about to end I noticed it was on the 3rd, one day before said anniversary. So I made a piece on Twitter scheduled to be released in about three hours as of posting. This is the wind-down piece for the day before I go to sleep.
This is of course, not the first time I did draw Kaiera in Dandelion, here it is but this time I feel the design is a bit more comfortable with my style, and mimicking a bit on Yon's design.

In all honesty, I wanted to sing this showing a whole collage of people I've met all over the years from my childhood til' now as drawings. It was made me and what Furria is today, as everything I've learned and seen, stories heard and experienced, is what culminated into this whole world.
I've decided to not go through with that as it's actually gonna make it a really massive project, but at least this song helps me remember. Plus, my art from the past do help too.
With PaupΓ«'s passing the song became much more heavier. Miss 'ya bud.

I've been playing a lot more Bravely Second on the 3DS (not Bravely Default 2 on the Switch) and I really like the designs in that game! (and the game before that, and the game after that)
So here's freelancer Kaiera without any asterisks... and without any weapons. The design of the outfit is actually based on my reference! ...actually it's a bit much. An alternate version is there with the shirt part but I feel it's a bit much at that point. Freelancers are supposed to be simpler in design.
The eyes are a bit different, too. This is because my eye style won't really work with the Bravely Default ones but I really like their art direction with this!
If Kaiera was an asterisk holder, what asterisk would you think Kaiera would have?
I didn't give my all on this one and yet it still took longer than expected... maybe because I was passively watching YouTube videos.

When I was playing my individualized personal copy of Bravely Second, I was just going ham with the game. I was breezing through all encounters so far (including bosses) with the same auto-attack pattern... on HARD.
It's pretty wild if you take the effort of actually taking advantage of what you're given!
Furria was inspired by Bravely Default, giving a certain Furrial Class the ability to harness the abilities of the Sav. They are called "Ampersands", and is only given by the Sav to those who they trust to use.
