I changed my Patreon to Pay Per Creation because that's Patreon's recommendation (per the FAQ) on how to go on hiatus.

Superman and Black Canary Page 08 Update 01

Here is my initial sketch for the last page of this comic.  It's pretty *simple, though I definitely need reference for Clark and Dinah.

This is the first of a series of 5 or 6, which will progressively become more risque - she has a dick (FYI).  Hopefully you like it.  

The waterfall background was something I hadn't done before, so it was definitely a challenge, but I like how it turned out.  New is good, right?

I may still make a few small changes, dependent on whether Daniel requests them.  Otherwise, I'm posting this as-is because I think it looks great!

Commission Update 05

Here is my most recent update to the commission piece.   I'm passing notes back and forth with the commissioner behind the scenes so this turns out great.  :)

Her left hand will probably be more relaxed, and obviously I need to tighten up the pencils and add inks.  The background is behind her - I just threw down a layer of white between the background and character so I could focus on her.

As you guys know, I am in China.  You may not know that I'm a huge NFL fan, which I've found is rare amongst pornsters (pornographers?  pornosticators? ).

Commission Update 01

I've been working on last month's commission, which is actually going to be the first in a series of progressively more provocative images.  They all take place in a single location, as though it's a traditional photo shoot.  

In this case, it's a waterfall, which I hope turns out really pretty.

I do my best to post something every night or every other night, and I know that hasn't been the case over the past few days.

I'm not going to go into details, but I'll say it's a relationship problem that is causing a lot of stress - and requires a lot of energy.

Once I start my Stupid Girl comic, I may need to start with pinups featuring the characters, since I wouldn't have hit my financial goal yet.  But that's just a nice way to get used to everyone, and that's not a bad thing.  :)

Upcoming Project - An Old Idea Revisited

Hey everyone,

As I've said, my next project is the $20 commission.  Then I have some ideas of pinups and/or finishing the 8th and final page of the Superman and Black Canary page, so I can wrap up that story and move on to a new one.  

As for a new one, my current thought is to revisit an old OC from years ago called "Stupid Girl".  It's exactly my kind of comic, as it should be since it's an OC.

Hulk and Black Widow

Well, it's finished.  Colored it in greyscale first, and then added adjustment layers to color it.  

And well, I think one turned out alright, but alright is less than I was aiming for.  It simply isn't "colorful" enough.  I had something else in mind, but due to the technique I used, I really struggled.

I'm sure I'll do a greyscale + color picture again in the future, but I didn't enjoy coloring this one, if I'm to be honest.

In any case, it's done!  Wooho...

Hulk and Black Widow Update 02

I tried a few things to get that Half Hulk looking good, sketched a few backgrounds, and in the end, I simply wasn't feeling it.  

Instead, I'm going with regular Hulk.  Black Widow is on a Lamborghini.  A green one.  

Should it be grey Hulk?  Or green Hulk?  Hmmmm....I'll think about it.

Wonder Woman and Powergirl

Here it is.  I'll leave it open to comments, if there are any.  There are definitely things I think I did really well on this picture, and things I need to improve upon, but that's a journey I look forward to taking.  :)

It's quite possible this is the time I'll finish that Superman and Black Canary page.  It's also likely that my next picture will NOT be futa, though I do plan to focus on that genre going forward.  I just want to mix it up a little.  Not a lot, b...

Wonder Woman and Powergirl Update 01

Here is the sketch of what I plan to work on next.  Not sure when I'll squeeze in that last panel of the comic page, but I've already put the page as it stands, in the $5 rewards folder for those who want it.  Don't want to short change you, after all.  :)

Anyway, the She-Hulk picture was really popular in a views-to-favorite conversion way of looking at it, so I want to do two more popular DC female characters.

The background was a pain in the ass, but I've decided to go all out with my backgrounds - at least most of the time.  I really feel a few extra days makes for a much better result, and in the end, that's what matters.   :)

I don't plan to do the "female version" until after I finish that Superman & Black Canary page.

Because I want to focus on making full comics, I am going forward with the last two pages of the Superman and Black Canary comic.  Having looked over the script, it will come to be 8 pages, which is perfect.  If you like the Bible Black or JLA Earth 2 idea, there is always that commission slot for sequential stuff.  Otherwise, I very likely won't pursue those.

Perspective Process - Part 01

I don't like drawing perspective.  It's a pain in the ass.  Thankfully, Painter's perspective tools help tremendously in this area, and while I'm working on the high school, I thought I'd sort of document the process I use and show it.

I want to start by apologizing for the art ADHD.  I explained why I am stopping the JLA comic already, but I love the landscape page thing, because it's different.  And sometimes different is good because it can help you stand out.  ;)

Due to the lack of sex in the comics I'm currently drawing, I wanted to make sure I do some pinups to sort of fill in the gaps, so to speak.  I don't know why I thought of this one, but I know there's a lot of confusion over the correct pronunciation of Darkseid's name.  This is a play on that.

Maybe trying to inject a lot of humor into my work is counter-productive?  Maybe do an alternate version without word balloons, and a different expression on Darkseid?  I don't know....

Anyway, I don't want to neglect this story.  I fully admit I'm not thrilled with the first three pages.  I think the art is fine, but the story is really sloppy and I would love to fix it.  I just don't know how, or if it's worth it.

Superman and Black Canary Page 06 Update 01

Remember how page 05 ended?  Oliver asking what a clitoris is?  I thought that'd be the PERFECT segue to Superman going down on Black Canary.  :P

This comic is almost finished, so I just want to knock it out.  Having a completed comic is always a good thing.  The rest of the story will basically go back and forth between Oliver talking up Dinah, and she and Clark in the bedroom.

Here it is in all its glory.  Being a non-sex page, I think it turned out pretty well, and I think the dialog is hilarious.  

I decided to add some texture to panel 1 to liven it up a bit, and I really think it makes it more interesting and richer, though I didn't want to overdo it.  I may add more floor texture, but I wasn't sure where the text would go, and there's a lot of it, and was afraid it'd get covered up.  I was wrong.

I think this page is great!  I got a little assistance with the dialog, but I love how it adds a little break in the action, and gets some laughs along the way.
