It actually saved it like that on the layer. Still not sure what the exact reason was, probably memory bug or something. Quite interesting, though.

Trying to get that perfect idea, sometimes means making some that'll get ditched. This page contained some of those I abandoned. But, that doesn't mean they can't be revisited at a later stage. That's the great thing about sketch pages, once you put down an idea you can always revisit and improve upon it.
