Commentary 01 - Things I Can't Stand About Britain [Patreon Exclusive]

So you may or may not have noticed that I recently created some new goals - I never posted about it because I honestly didn't expect to hit 100 Patrons so soon! 

Anyways, since we've hit that goal I'll now be making Patreon-exclusive commentary videos based on each new upload from now on where I'll basically discuss my thoughts on the video and a bit of behind-the-scenes about the production of it.

We finally reached 50 Patron supporters which means the Patreon-exclusive Discord server is now live :D I've been super excited to launch it and be able to chat with you guys much easier (the Patreon messaging system kinda sucks hhhhh) and I hope you guys'll enjoy it too!

I'm gonna be posting updates on video progress and general channel updates there so you can get an idea of how the next video's going and when it might be coming out, it's a bit easier to update real quick every so often than...

There May Not be a Second Video This Month

Sooo last video was a huge project and now I'm experiencing ~burnout~ yaaaaay

Usually the steps I take to prevent burnout work pretty well (e.g. taking breaks on weekends) but I dunno, this time I'm finding it really difficult to get back into the swing of things. 

I think just the length of the video and having to work more hours than usual to get it out on time tired out my brain, but luckily due to the support I've received on it and all my new Patrons (<3), there's no pressur...

New Reward Tiers Incoming! (9th October)

Heya everyone! 

On the 9th of October (next tuesday) I'm gonna be updating my reward tiers! I was gonna do it on the 10th so it'd be a nice whole number but I have plans on Wednesday and won't be at my computer aasafghfh

As a result of this when I update the tiers everyone is gonna get automatically shifted to the "no rewards" tier, so you'll need to join one of the new tiers before the end of the month in order to get the rewards. I'll send out a message again when the change happe...

So, lets get straight to it. I decided to scrap the "experiemental/serious tone" video that I was planning to end the month with. 

I'm really having a hard time writing it since it's so different to my usual tone. I really can't seem to get a script that doesn't feel weird and fake along with visuals that aren't too silly but also high quality. So, I've decided to leave it for now. Basically I did all of my lip sync first then put it on top of the background. Because those files are absolutely huge I compress the lip sync parts with the background into one video to add in the rest. So I did this whole process once...then saw the background skipping.
