Wedding gift drawing

debating if I post this or not since it's personal but, I made a gift drawing for my godmother and her husband for their wedding. I took a photo from her ig that I liked of the two of them that didn't have the presence of alcohol (ha) and redrew it.

I'm back from Anime NYC! been back home for a few days now but ive still been tired from it all. I didn't get to play the new Deadlock update as I was preparing to leave when it dropped on Monday so I spent a couple days playing. I think I earned it. ANYC was a big success! Anime NYC 2025

I will be at Anime NYC table G19 today, August 21 to the 24th in NYC! This is my first time tabling here and I'm so excited after attending this con for several years myself!

I have a few new riso prints, well as original drawings and a long awaited restock of the Gordon Freeman Epoxy Keychains.

warm-up drawing

warm up with an idea from imagination. goal was not to think too hard about the idea and just draw from raw ideas in my head. i started with the pose idea in my head and went from there i went through and quickly picked some images from my pinterest folders for clothing and hair inspo.

Chell - Portal 2k concept

they are done! GLaDOS, Chell, and more or less Wheatley for my y2k inspired redesign. GLaDOS was just my version of a humanoid glados but I just lumped her in with this project. it feels good to get this vision out there after some time living in my head. portal 2k - chell wip

ink is coming along. messing around with a color palette that is friendly with the riso inks I have. as for the font, I was looking through scans of an issue of a Japanese graphic design magazine from the early 2000s called Narita Inspected. There was a typeface called "fatty" by the now defunct Cyclone Graphix. I loved the font and thought it fit what I was going for with portal2k (and its called fatty, just perfect)

inspired to draw some Cammy since ive been seeing a lot of sf fan art on my feeds. ive only played, sf , third strike, alpha 3 and dabbled with sf6. I think I prefer the ribbed blue suit design. quick check in with what I've been working on for the past week. Three drawings for the Glow-Pop pop up show that'll be available for purchase. Gotta send them out tomorrow to get there in time. inked and colored! Working on Milchick next, and taking suggestions for the next character from severance you'd like to see! I'm loosly going in the order of primary, to secondary, tertiary, etc. Long term goal would be to do portraits of just about everyone and compile it in a zine.

continuing the portraits of the severance cast. this is also pretty much how a lot of my drawings go. I usually start drawing the head many times, trying to figure out the shapes and what to push to get the feel of the character. I had a simple pose idea for her so after I got a gauge on the face, I'll go into drawing the final.

McGinnis drawing

had this idea last night for a quick McGinnis drawing. I abolsutely loved her redesign to the point where I picked her up. my friend keeps telling me I look like her and should do a cosplay.

I want to pump out more fun, sort of lower effort inconsequential drawings. I initially wanted to draw her resting on her mini gun but I didn't wanna spend too much time on this and I knew it was going to get hung up on it. gonna ink + tone this later

LOW-LIFE | HL2 animatic rough draft v2

a good chunk of change here. added a gunfight scene and a lot more foley/sfx. just need some tweaks here and there and I can start clean drawings. audio remastering will come later. I had to splice the music up to fit the pacing so it's not a smooth transition at the moment.

do you guys like to see rough process on animatics like this? or would you rather see more complete frames as I go along or see the finished product first then process? let me know in the comments!

sorry some of these "scans" are a bit shit. my phone really is the fastest and most convenient thing especially if im going to be cleaning these digitally. when I can, I def need a newer and larger scanner bed and your patreon dollars will help this!

WIP: LOW LIFE - HL2 Animatic draft

rough storyboards for the next animatic. I think the pacing is pretty solid and im happy with this stage so far. I think the next step is to rough out some potential minor background. then doing the clean drawings with the keys + breakdowns + a few in-betweens but nothing crazy, just enough to round out some motions. I obvs need a few more frames at the end since putting the little gag post credits was just spontaneous, last minute idea while compiling.

jade and pey'j illo from a few months ago. I originally lined this one then painted underneath the lines but I kinda fell out of the painted version and went back to good ol lines and screen tones. gonna work on the colors for this as a riso.

New tiers and price adjustments in effect
