I spoke of this concept I wanted to do  a while ago. I have so many things and already so many avenues where I get to draw HL stuff in a collaborative capacity, but this will never get done if i don't at least chip at it. Metroid Sticker WIP

Hey all, sorry for the darkness lately. CTS is better, but I have days when a twinge of pain comes back, so I need to refrain from drawing related stuff. I've been chipping away at this Samus sticker, tweaking the colors and figuring out the shapes as I go along. I have the full body design coming up. testing the waters

I finished watching Aeon Flux the other day and I wanted to draw our titular character. Also got excited about this new brush I wanted to try thats pretty similar to the one i use now but has some characteristics I've been looking for in an ink brush. I wanted to see if I still knew how to draw... I barely warmed up before this with this and my hand is still feeling off, but it's getting slightly better as time goes on.

added values on Roof's comm, as this is as much i can do for now. i've found out i do in fact have carpal tunnel.. from my understanding, it's rather serious so i need to be very careful. going to do whatever i can to get this over with soon, but it might be a matter of weeks or months :/

i will completely understand if you decide to unsub as when i'll be back working is uncertain. i will continue to update with progress on healing and such.

pencils and inks of RoofPsycho's OC, Selena for a commission. Going to see a physical therapist today about this arm pain. hopefully it's nothing too bad and worst case scenario, i just have to take an extended break from games and drawing, unfortunately. but rather do that than be in pain forever, we'll see.

Cheeky paint from this shitty ink drawing I did while I had my wrist issues and took a break from the ipad; the urge to draw was strong!! So i tried to keep it nice and loose and use my shoulder. Even doodling and not worrying about the final is fun, just churning out ideas. 

MGSV Commission

My take on Venom and Quiet for Nathan Adler on Twitter. Wanted to give Quiet something a little more comfortable and practical and gave her the Brenn.LR46 Anti Material Rifle because i love big snipers and what I equipped Quiet w/ it once I unlocked it. Snake is def inspired by Solid Snake and posing as well as the classic sneak suit silhouettes.

Warm-up

I like to start the day by going to my Pinterest folders and just picking something that interests me at the moment and choose to study it. Whether it be the pose or a material or just warm up the inking. Of course, I got carried away and turned into a patent leather material study. I'll also be uploading the time lapse and PSD of this soon. Took about 2hrs

Samus Sticker WIP

Arm/wrist is feeling a little better, so I'm slowly getting back into new illos and comic stuff. Been wanting to make a Dread Samus sticker for a bit. i might do 2 stickers; one of her head and a full body holographic sticker. A little insight into the dark barrel that is illustrator, as well as my prelim sketches.

Although last night, I've noticed some pain in my right wrist and I woke up this morning with that same persisted pain. I'm going to guess it's some minor carpal tunnel, I'm not sure but idk what else it could be, and it would check out with all the drawing I've been doing recently. I've never had this problem before, not even when I was younger, so I never did those wrist exercis...

Sneak Suit concept Commission

So , I was tasked with designing a winter/desert sneak suit for a Roof's OC, Lu. I'm very familiar with Lu so I was glad to take this on. Been several months in the making, but it was fun! I've attached initial wips, sketches and a little preview of what the reference/mood board looked liked. OFC a lot of MGS and HECU assassin vibes.

We got lucky, and I finished this the next day.. I seem to get carried away on these little sketches but w/e, I'm having fun. My initial idea was a diptych but from a first-person perspective of Gordon and Alyx, and I couldn't pull it off the way I wanted to, but I'm happy with this compromise.
