Magnus had made careful and slow steps toward a sapling he had spotted.  It grew closer to the edge of the barrier that seemed to be in place.  He hadn’t felt anything when he walked through the area between the stone pillars, and after quickly hacking the sapling down, he grabbed it and raced back to the side he felt was safe.

The dungeon was almost hard to look at sometimes. Ultimate Level 1 - 150 - A Magical 50

The last two days had been a non-stop grind fest.

After clearing the troll dungeon, they made their way to the northwest corner of town, entering the level forty-five dungeon, the dungeon of goatmen. The goatmen were slightly more challenging than the trolls, as they had no elemental weakness, so Tanila couldn't one-shot them with her standard spells. Still, Max and Fowl quickly discovered how to combine everyone's abilities for one massive dungeon clear.

The next day went about as well as Max and the others could have hoped for.  Tom had orange rings waiting for them, offering a similar effect as the ice ones.  He had taken back the ones he loaned them for the ice dungeon and laughed when they asked about the ones needed for the tower.  He had smiled and promised to come to the party for Fowl in three days, even bringing Everett and some of the other Faction members.

Kaen and Pammon swept over the desert area, scouring the land for the Kobolds they could see still moving in groups of hundreds and even up to a thousand.
