Long time no chat!!

Sorry it's been a slow month I always tend to slow down during this kind of year. This semester has been really hard for totally seperate reasons than the last one so Yeah i havent been checking social media or anything. I have a rly busy life so I just dont have time for consistant posting like i used to :( Now that its over I hope to have more time for Cybersoldier and my new, new short film, which will be a 3 minute long Rankin-Bass inspired horror!

Ive been so swamped with homework Already but ive been making enough time for myself to doodle! Mainly lots of backgrounds and wildlife. Not much else to say besides sorry im a little late posting this! I hope the extra amount makes up for it!

August 2022 Sketch Dump

a hefty selection of random sketches this month!

Hopefully with school starting ill be able to doodle more, but im gonna be working on 4+ films at once (Cybersoldier, my next film titled Vespionage, and my upcoming thesis, and some group thing) so uhhh idk about that 🥲 But ill try!!

I still hope to have Cybersoldier out by 2022 but just keep in mind my busy schedule :) all three of my independent films im super excited to share!!

Sketch Dump! May-June

Hey everyone!!

Let me start with an apology for my lack of uploads here 😝 simply put depression sucks and i have a LOT of wips i dont wanna share until theyre finished!!

My depression has also been extremely tough and I'm trying to get Cybersoldier Sweetheart out along with some other fun things for the project.

Hoping to get these done alongside a film release:

- Some buyable prints

- Some digital comics (maybe printable 🫣)

WIP - Armani Expressions

some expressions of Armani!! maybe ill color one day but enjoy the lines for now

WIPS - Cagebird Blues set design

a work in progress of some set designs for my pitch bible, cagebird blues! These will be colored eventually, but, I am a busy bee with 4 studio classes so the coloring of this will just have to wait.

Here, we see two important set locations - Armani's rooftop aviary and Isaac's bakery.

Armani is usually confined to his lavish penthouse, with all his needs cared for him in a lap of luxury. However, he is often forcibly isolated in his condo at the behest of his parents....

CONCEPTS - the Ballad of Cagebird Blues

a work in progress of my design sheets for my neo-noir pitch! I've finally settles on a title, called the Ballad of Cagebird Blues, since its about Armani's experience of lavish isolation and his jazz and avian interest, i should have an enticing pitch bible soon! By the end of the school year these'll be colored and ready to share publically. for now enjoy the sketches!

Jan. 2022 Sketchbook Tour

Some highlights of this month's sketches!

Going to be honest, January was a slow slow month art production wise. I've been coping with the weather and seasonal depression by seeking alternate hobbies and avenues besides 2D mediums.

So, besides mandetory school stuff like film production and homework (which most of this is) 2D art just hasn't been a thing i'm doing. But I do have some to share!

Went to the Bronx zoo and saw a lovely embrace of some Giraffes, spent 3 hours in the exhibit painting the scene! They are one of my favorite animals to paint!

im excited to share with you all the animatic of my upcoming film, Super Cybersoldier Sweetheart GO! a y2k and retro anime inspired action-romance about a superhero android who destroys the city because he thinks his boyfriend is cheating onhim.

im finally settled on what to call my upcoming film. my 2nd yr film will be called Super Cybersoldier Sweetheart Go! our titular Sweetheart will be renamed to being called Cybersoldier Sweetheart canonically but Sentai is fine too.
