Lets talk trip and steel!!

Little overview about my trip and all the steel experiences.

Despite all my worries about the security checks and how Americans would react to my style the trip turned out to be amazing and all the reactions were super positive.

City of Angels and hidden oasis.

Soaking in all the beauty of LA, finally got to visit Getty villa and Getty center, but definitely will be returning!!

And then hiking off to a hidden oasis in Joshua tree national park. Was it worth sweating in the 30C heat? Hell yeah!! Enjoying my last In-N-Out burger and checking out the Hollywood Walk of Fame just before boarding my plane back home.

On my way back to the coast.

Checked out whether Hoover Dam is still there and just couldn't resist the temptation of Vegas as I was heading up to Sacramento. Caught some snow and cold weather up in the mountains and saw the greener side of California and around lake Tahoe.

And then there it was - the most beautiful highway I have ever seen - Pacific Coast Highway. I think I can still smell the oceans air mixed with all the lush greenery.

And then I'm back in LA and witnessing some history - Not sure how ma...

Desert steel serenity

As I visited White Sands National Park this fascinating calmness took over me. The sand is so white that it looks more like snow than sand.
After each bend the scenery changes and you want to head off to explore more of it.
The sand was soft and pleasant under my bare feet, the wind a bit chilly as a rain storm was approaching us.
New Mexico definitely surprised me with the diversity as just few hours before visiting this park I was driving through mountains and watching snow fall...

This trip I decided to see some more steel... well car steel...
As I was wandering around in the desert sun and looking out for some rattle snakes that the owner of the place warned me about, the sun was turning my neck stack into a solar radiator.
Just two hours in the sun and 30°C heat made me realise that wearing my full stack probably wouldn't be possible in such a warm place.

Sleeping in a car can be scary and uncomfortable, but nothing beats waking up to views of giant cacti right next to your car.

My eclipse experience

The idea about this trip was born as we leaned about this total solar eclipse few months ago. Getting everything arranged and then the last minute stress of finding the best viewing spot and the cloudy weather are just few of the expiations of my emotional reaction to the eclipse itself (Yes those are happy relief tears in the video) I just felt so relieved and grateful that I got to experience it!

Here are few pics I made with my chain during the 10 days of wearing it.

As the whole thing was very spontaneous and not planned, I didn't do the best job of capturing the experience, but next time I do something similar I'll make sure to document it properly!

10 day chain experiment

I filmed a little video diary about my 10 days of wearing a big chain with a massive padlock.

First I wasn't sure what I'll be doing with the little videos, but as the days went on, I felt a bit more comfortable to show it off to you all and it all turned into this little video.

And yes, it's the same chain that you saw in my latest bondage video :)

Built in 2 weeks

So we bought this car few years ago and built it up from an empty shell to a drive around and crossed Europe in it without a single breakdown.
