Finally, my review of the new Game Color range is up! This is longest video review I've ever done, and I've worked over a month on it. This video nearly broke me, and with all the filming, experimenting, and editing, I estimate it took more than 25 hours to produce... anyways, hope you enjoy it ;)

I spent the festive days over at my parents place, but I brought my Tactical Support Squad with me and made some good progress. So, I finished all the fences from Kill Team: Moroch and thus completed the first half of the terrain in the box, but before I paint the other half, I'm gonna slot in a quick Tactical Support Squad for my Sons of Horus. Can't wait to paint these, just love the new Mk6 models. I wonder if I can finish the squad by the end of the year?

It's Christmas soon, which means there are no new releases from Games Workshop right now, so we're taking it easy and working our way through our backlog.
Garfy will be sharing the final units of his Leagues of Votann army with you over the festive period as he finishes painting his Sundered Fate set, and then there's also the new Ghoul King. It'd probably be better for the YouTube algorithm to finish the video this week, but it's just too stressful and Vallejo is having supply problems anyway, so they aren't really available except for a few outlets in Spain.

So, I finally finished the three Alpha Legion models for my Kill Team, and decided to take a break from them before I paint the final two models, and get some terrain done. Here is the landing pad from the Kill Team: Moroch box set, was quite fun to paint. Just a zenithal primer, drybrushing and pigments, so relaxing! Hope to get all the fences done this week. After that I'll probably want to paint some more Sons of Horus, before I paint the second half of the terrain over Christmas :)

With a delay comes this week's update. Garfy is busy working on his copy of Sundered Fate, while I started preparations on my next paint range review, which will be the new Vallejo Game Color range.
Reviewing the third paint range in a video format in a row is quite intense. As a rule of thumb, 1 minute of finished video translates to at least an hour of work (preparing the script, filming, editing...). My last video reviews have all been over 10 minutes long, so you can work out ...

I realised I haven't posted a painting update for a while. I'm super busy with testing and reviewing all these new paint ranges (Two Thin Coats, Vallejo Xpress & Game Color), so my painting is quite slow, PLUS those Chaos Space Marine models are massive time sinks. Hobby-wise, I took a break from painting my Chaos Space Marine Kill Team this week, and painted one of the new Cadian Shock Troopers for an upcoming tutorial.

Last couple of days I've been working on a batch of Alpha Legion CSM for my Traitor Legionaries Kill Team. The new Chaos Marine models are sooo detailed, they really take a while. About midway through, hope to finish them by the end of next week. I'm photographing every step for a tutorial, I guess it might become a Patreon exclusive after I've finished the whole team (so probably still a couple of months away :D)

How are you doing? I made some good progress on my Sons of Horus Contemptor Dreadnough, really nice model to paint.
