Hey what's up, quick painting update. I took a break from the Vargskyr as I'm trying to fix his broken finger. Since I'm bad at sculpting, I used blue stuff to mould a finger from the other hand. Now I'm doing a couple of green stuff casts until I get a cast I'm happy with. In the meantime, I did some work on Sister Tariana Palos which I'm painting for the Order of the Golden Light, but I'm adding my own spin on this scheme by adding a few subtle hints of purple. Hello folks,
there is some news regarding my Patreon: From now on, the monthly "freebies" (such as paint swatches and masterclass tutorials) will appear slightly more irregular, more like every 5 to 6 weeks. At the moment I'm working on a Vargskyr. I want to visit Garfy in July to play a couple of games of Warcry, and I need a big hitter for my Soulblight. I want to have a black scheme like with my Fell Bats, but the challenge is to make it more than just a black blob. I also managed to snap off one of his fingers and lose the piece, so I need to resculpt it.

Hey there, here are high res versions (plus back views) of the Pyregheists, Ydrian Riverblades and the terrain piece from Warcry: Pyre and Flood.
I thought it would be cool to post higher resolution versions of the sprue images I take. Because of server space and traffic quotas I just can't add 4mb images to the blog, but since I take these images any way I thought this would make nice bonus content for Patreon. What do you think?

Happy Easter! This week I've been working on the remaining Gallowdark pieces and they're pretty much done except for a few minor fixes and a coat of varnish. That means the first half of the box is done, will paint the other half later this year. Next up will be a Vargskyr for my Soulblight Gravelords collection, need a big hitter for when I will visit Garfy in London this year, we want to get a couple of games of Warcry in :)

Painting update! Last week I was working on Sekhar from the Fangs of the Blood Queen box. Absolutely adore this model, great silhouette and not overstuffed with little details and stuff. Sekhar herself is almost done, not sure how to paint her snake yet. I'm probably going for a rich purple with black markings, and maybe Warpfiend Grey for the belly.

So, I finished the Striking Scorpion Exarch just in time for the video that is coming up this weekend, and for this month's Patreon freebie, which will be a complete tutorial!
