Thought I'd start doing some expression warmups here and there! There's a couple of rarely/never drawn expressions for Tanner here, but knowing him you'll probably be seeing the bottom right one a lot.
I'm planning on cycling through characters for a bit, so if there's someone you'd like to see please let me know in the comments!
Things like this are exactly why if you ask Syrus what it's like being friends with Tanner, he'd just stare off into the distance.
I really liked how Tanner came out by himself too, so here's a hyena-less version as well!
Here's a couple of sketches for you today! First up is a Donald I drew as a warmup not too long ago, because if I don't know what to draw Donald isn't a bad place to start. Also he cures just fine, stop lying.
Next up is Scar with a bit of a pirate twist as requested by Pinky75910 on Deviantart! Despite being one of my favorite movies since forever I don't think I've draw him before.

I think I might have just kinda convinced myself that I like Beartic - it's design isn't that great but on the other hand, it's a polar bear, right? I think I like the idea of Beartic more than I like the execution, but dang thing is still my favorite Ice type anyway.
I'm not 100% satisfied with this first pass of it in my style, but I'm pretty happy with it's face!

After a few months of comic pages, we return to comic strip format for some Christmas contemplation where Tanner asks who just re-gifts a heart like that??
Apparently drawing these two is my Christmas tradition, as I've happened to draw them for the past couple years in a vaguely-Christmas manner, haha. As a little bonus I've attached their previous holiday outings as well.
And that's that! I hope you all have a great Christmas this year!
And that's a wrap - the foul beast was slayed and the scaredy otter was saved. I'm happy with the last panel in particular, it turned out to be one of my favorite things I've drawn all year so it's fun to have ended both the comic and this year on that note.
