In my head I had asked for my last sketch prompt and roughly two weeks ago and after almost immediately doing the thumbnail sketch, was ready to finally get to work on it. In reality, that was a way longer time. I'm really sorry for being behind on these sketches, I truly appreciate all of your support and you deserve all of the thanks I can give. I'm going to do my best to get back on track with these, especially since I have a new Patron to thank for May!

My entry for this year's Pokemon TCG Illustration contest! The theme for the contest was 'magical moments with Pokemon', and since Bidoof was everyone's resident HM user in Sinnoh I thought it would be fun for it to be able to experience the one HM it could never use - Fly! Needed a few extras for a comic and it felt like it made the most sense to come up with completely new ones this time around so... cat family! I came up with them all rather quickly but I think I was able to make them a bit distinct - I'm hoping the 90's lookin' kid ends up fun to color, haha.

Fun fact - I've been wanting to draw a Digimon collage like this for at least a decade at this point. I still have the first brainstorming page I drew for it, and Tai and Kari's pose is redrawn from that page!
There's a couple more poses I've brought back from that page, it'll be fun to completely...

You might notice there's a few less sketches this month - I've gotten back into the habit of going straight from the thumbnails to the final sketch/inks again! There are some poses where I end up doing a rough sketch and cleaning it up enough to be used as the final, but overall it's nice to be able to save a bit of time with these. Wish I could do the same for bigger pictures!
