Another month, another update.
For those of you following Project X you'll be happy to hear that we should now be nearing a release with finalised sprites for Stage 4. Then the awkward task of reshuffling the development process comes into effect, but fingers crossed for a more reliable release phase after that.
Game servers and file hosting are still going strong, with a helpful cash injection from some very generous donors this month making up the slack from a dip in patrons.

So, it's been a little while, what's been up with me?
A few things, really!
Kept the server up and running, it now has 3 minecraft instances on it and a factorio instance for 4 small communities.
The server is also hosting some art archives and backup data for some artists.
Project X is plodding along, we are getting ready for some big changes to the forums and a major release, hopefully sooner rather than later, but we have to wait on our sprite team becoming available again.

I got a text message from "NatWest" (it wasn't really from NatWest) alerting me that my internet banking had been locked out and I needed to go online and reactivate my account.
I decided to "Fall" for the scam, to see how this particular phish worked and threw together a video in the process.
Not my best work, but at least the content is interesting, I hope.
A month or so ago I was woken by a phone call from one of my oldest clients.
A lovely 90 year old lady we shall call "R" for this case. After her husband passed away I taught her how to use a computer and the internet to stay in contact with family, send emails and write letters.
R called me in a panic, "I think I've been scammed!" she said, struggling to string two words together. After calming her down I got her to explain the gist of what had happened.
