Happy Labour Day for some of us!

Here's the work in progress of the outer walls for part of the outpost.

Next release is tomorrow, you will be getting the third release of the skyscraper which includes the conference, the security / armory floors plus the water treatment plant. There will be a public post about it as usual.

Finally I printed out the portion of the lobby assembled as well! Hope you all like it!

Another happy Saturday!

Sharing some updates on the first piece of the outpost. Pretty much done and here I am also showing the interior with elevator.

I have widened the structure by one tile and in my opinion this looks better than before. So far this will be the center piece of the outpost and will be surrounded by other outpost pieces like smaller towers, defensive walls and other buildings etc and form a larger outpost / base.

Outpost and skyscraper update

Quite productive this week, getting close to wrapping up the outpost piece. I actually have a plan to expand the outpost with more pieces as well. Right now with this single piece it kind of acts like a guard tower of sort but not really an outpost / forward base.

And I also realized I haven't finished the exterior walls for the next two floors for the skyscraper (conference room and security/armory) for the September release. I have since finished the ones for the conference...

Weekly dose of update

For those not on the discord, here are some updates about what I've been working on.

I was able to print my mech bust design from previous release by a local resin printer. And it came out awesome!

Then I also printed the mining site that was as part of this month's release as well.

Thirdly, just wrapped up on the water treatment piece as another random design which will be released as part of next month's release along with the conference rooms and sec...

This is the second of the four release of Skyscraper Chiheisen which includes:

• atrium / senior office

• research lab

If we include the lobby and office floors from last month's release we now have a 6 story skyscraper (lobby and atrium/senior office take up two stories)!

Plus an extra mining site from one of my random small projects!

Updates + fixes

Another small update

The space station kickstarter is doing fine hopefully will do well at the end. I have also finished up to the fifth stretch goal.

Now I am getting ready for the August release as well as started brainstorming and working on a mobile drill. Its heavily work in progress as I'm still playing with the overall shape. Space station update + side project + more

Another happy Saturday/Sunday to all.

Just wanted to share the fourth stretch goal for the space station, which is an air lock and also acts as extension to the tubular passage for the base set.

Also mentioned previously I would be working on some random side project. I've actually got a couple in mind and I started with this small mining facility. Hope you all like it!

What am I working on?

Just focusing on some stretch goals ahead of the space station kickstarter that I am planning to launch mid of this month. After that I will turn back to the Skyscraper plus a side project of sort.

July release is out - First release of Skyscraper Chiheisen!

This is the first of the four release of Skyscraper Chiheisen is out!

This set includes the lobby, the office as well as the h0-pp3r spacecraft.

Just getting a bit ahead of myself here

So while we are close to releasing the first part of the four part series for the skyscaper. I've been working on the exterior walls and minor tweaks here and there for the atrium/senior office and research lab that will be released in August.

I will also be launching the space station some time mid July and hopefully that will go decent!

Also I will be taking a week off from my 9-5 so I will be able to take a break as well as doing a bit more "work".

The roof is finally up for the skyscraper

The roof is finally up for the skyscraper! The exterior walls will slowly be there as I move my way up just like I did for the lobby and office which are to be released next month . So I will be working on the exterior walls for the atrium/senior office and the research lab next.

Skyscraper Chiheisen update + tentative release schedule

Here we have the security floor and maintenance floor with stairs going up to the roof which will be worked on after getting the exterior walls done for the lobby and the second office floor. You will notice the security floor also has stairs going up because initially I thought this floor would be the second top most floor but then I realized we needed a maintenance floor to house the power generator as well as the elevator machine for each elevator.

Skyscraper (Chiheisen) update - research / conference room

Skyscraper update - office / senior office

Here are some updates on the Skyscraper, so far I got the office and atrium/senior office mostly complete (might add more later). Next up will be the research/tech/meeting/security room floor.

Been looking for a Japanese name, I'm leaning towards Hotaru which means firefly. Any suggestions?

Skyscraper update

Happy Saturday!

Sharing some skyscaper updates with you all, here we have the interior of the 2 floor high lobby as well as the office (still work in progress). The last picture shows the "tray" exterior wall in blue encapsulating the inner floors.

Next floor will probably be made up of half 2 floor high "atrium" and the other half will be management office rooms for the more seniors.

I will work on the exterior of the building once I have more floors do...

Update of the week

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share the printed version of the mech bust. Please excuse the print quality as this was printed with my FDM and I should have printed this bigger instead. I'm pretty sure it will print great with resin printer though! I'm planning to release this as a bonus for next month.

Current WIP + current kickstarter update

Another week of update, wanted to show everyone I'm working on a mech. But this time I want to focus on designing/studying on the head/chest portion. Who knows maybe it will eventually form a complete mech :)

I thought it makes more sense to focus on the bust at least this alone can be printed out an painted then displayed. If I started with the hand it would be weird just to display that. Love to hear your thoughts on this though!

Working on something different

Hope you all had a happy Easter!

As I have mentioned in the last update that I had some time to do something different for a change. So here it is, the Ball from the Gundam anime series. Its not exactly the same as any actual variant in the series but more of a mix and match from images on the internet plus a bit of my own. I will add more details to it and probably release this some time next month as part of the monthly release.

Power module ready to power the entire space station!

Here we have the power module of the space station! Also printed the power core which is a two part model using my trusty FDM printer. I'm pretty sure it would look 100 times better if printed on a resin!

I think now I have a bit of time to do something a little different and to further (or attempt to) advance my modelling skills. Hopefully my day job doesn't get in my way though. Fingers crossed!
