I've been working on the first episodes of my new series, Godslayers! I thought I'd show some works-in-progress of the first pages of episode 1. So far, I am halfway through with cleaning up the sketches for this episode, then it'll be linework, then I'll hop into the other episodes until I'm done with chapter 1 as a whole before posting it elsewhere. I took a break from making comics in order to recharge, but I've been working on things quietly as well. Namely, a new series: Godslayers
This short comic is not the series itself, but rather a test; how to draw the characters, what style I want to try out with the series itself, the techniques I'll have to get familiar with, etc. So this isn't tied to the story of the series, but it is a test in style and themes!

Turns out, the hole leads right down to where Sionach and her companions are! It seems the wisps knew they were down there! And is that a hand coming out of the roots??

The kids have found the wisp, but instead of leading them out of the Sanctum, it takes them somewhere peculiar...!
If you remember the church from way back in the village, and the little Watcher that Hati was holding at the start of this chapter, then you might start to connect some things about this world...
