Onion Ocean

I have to say, this was the nicest commission to work on in quite a while, thank you again Cos for commissioning me to do this! I still need practice with painting ocean based scenery, but with some of my latest drawings being underwater themed I am slowly getting more familiar with it, and I was allowed to go all out with the colours in this one in particular.

This is a commissioned work featuring two of my characters, the main antagonists of my story of Bound Fates, Volcaniarousane and the Masked One, and my best friend's character, Blanche.

I was told to go wild with the galaxy background, so I did! It also allowed me a chance to fully work on my interpretation of these characters, and I will happily draw them again in the near future.

A New Age - Prelude to a Nightmare Cover Page

Now this is something I've had in mind for quite a while, and you dear patrons are the first ones to know.

I am thinking about making a comic out of my story A New Age. Don't worry, it won't stop me from writing the rest of Act 2! Quite the opposite, really, as I am not stopping that story for anything else.

Forest Landscape

I'm trying to work a lot more on my backgrounds lately, and the best way to get better at them is to draw them directly as is. I was listening to the album () by Sigür Ros (might have spelled that wrong) while painting this, it was quite a nice experience. Expect to see more of these coming soon!

I did a forest background first because that's what I'm used to the most until now, I'll go on and do more complex and unfamiliar backgrounds soon.

This is the final contribution to my Alone series, a full, long comic that explains how Kirby finally found his way.

In fact, they live for so long, that sometimes they stop 'living' and they content themselves in just 'being'. Sometimes, they get so lost and away from life that they are never seen again, and they just fade away into non-existence...

A New Beginning

I wanted to practice more on landscapes and scenery, while also making something about Spyro, so I went and repainted the river scene at the beginning of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning.

This game was the first Spyro game I ever played, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. The soundtrack is so good too! I enjoyed working on this, it was very different from what I usually do.

Portrait - Silver the Hedgehog

This is the last portrait I finished, it's more like a bust since I stopped right above the legs, but that's a technicality.

Silver has got to be my all-time favourite Sonic character, so I had to eventually make a drawing out of him. He may appear in what is considered one of the worst Sonic game ever (even though it was the first one I ever played and I still like it), he was one of the best characters to come out of that, hands down. Concept Art - Dragon Spirit

This is a concept of sort for some type of dragon spirit; if an Ikrouk were to be inhabited by the spirit of a dragon, what would it look like?

I will most likely continue to work with that idea for my stories.

Galactic Trio - The Star Child

And finally, we have the final piece of the Galactic Trio, Kirby himself! The first iteration of this drawing in particular was empty and flat, I am much more satisfied with the colours I used in this new one. It's so much more vibrant! Even Kirby's pose is better.

Overall, I am very happy with how each of these three drawings came out, it shows how much I have grown as an artist, and I hope to continue growing in this fashion in the near future.

Galactic Trio - The Silent Knight

Another remake of an old piece, this time the one featuring Meta Knight. The old one was the first of the three that I made and this one was the first that I remade, and I have to say the difference is quite striking.

You can see that I changed the design a bit, especially the wings and the fact that I didn't use his metal gloves. I made his wings more bat like, with long thumbs instead of just claws. I prefer it much more that way!
