[Vamp in Marvel] Ch: 1 [Awakening]

The island loomed in the distance, a patch of land seemingly untouched by the chaos surrounding the world. To the untrained eye, it appeared ordinary—just another remote chunk of rock amidst endless ocean. But as Bruce and Cable flew closer, subtle ripples began to disturb the air, as if the very fabric of reality was bending to hide something larger beneath its surface.

Bruce arrived at the location, Fury had mentioned. It's a somewhat big, barren island in the middle of the ocean, far from any civilization, but what stood there were old ruins and giant obelisks made of stone and metal. Well, that's what it looked like from above. Upon further scanning, he noticed a layer of holographic imagery over a protective dome.

Just a skeleton of what remained of the building and the once tall statue stood proudly was enough to bring an odd feeling of nostalgia. Using the enhanced vision, he scanned the area to check for any traps or sensors, but there weren't any.
