Here's the video detailing all the new things in the latest build. The island has had wildlife roaming around it now. With your new bow you can shoot them and they drop cosmetic orbs. You can give these orbs to kobolds to give them things to wear!

Kobolds can now eat! When they eat certain foods, their stats will raise. These stats help them traverse and fight in the world around them and in the eventual racing and karate minigames like the ones in chao garden.

This is the final layout of the map that you'll be able to check out in the next build! The small white speck in the top left corner is the current kobold garden too! Went with a squarish map similar to breath of the wilds as I find you're able to add a lot more room to explore in a smaller area then with a crazy looking continent wasting space everywhere. I've fixed some things that needed fixing on the knight model and here we are! Debated whether I should've gave it a massive overhaul or completely redone it but I've grown fond of the simplicity of the model so I've kept it fairly intact, I can save fancy stuff for future playable models. I've also redid most of the animations, the patting actually looks like patting! Menus broke in the last build too so I went to fixing them, turns out lots of the scale for sliders in particular jumped to weir...

Got inspired looking at some map layouts while planning out Kobold Gardens map so I decided to expand it out this update. The starting garden will still be a small area slightly larger then the one we have now but will be somewhere on this bigger map you can go out and explore in. I've also added a day cycle system for planned time specific events and for future creatures that come out at different times of the day. The days of the camera clipping through everything are over! I've completely replaced the old camera system with one called Cinemachine. It not only allows me to set up collisions but tweak parameters easy and even stabilize so when running on bumpy terrain the camera isn't getting all janky too. It will also come in handy in the future when making in-game cutscenes!

Hello y'all! These are the first steps in laying down the foundations for VR! My goal for this is to make the game just as playable as it would be in regular desktop mode. If you can pet and hold a Kobold in the regular game, you should be able to in VR without it being too different. Hope it adds a super immersive layer to the game while still being fully playable from start to finish.

Hello every nyan! Today marks the first day of the first kobold to have ever have been picked up and carried by mankind! When close to a bold you can pick them or other objects and place them wherever you want. I'm also still working on the environment as you can see a new skybox! The forest that the first garden resides in has super huge trees that cast shadows everywhere. Hello lovely people! This update we have the start of basic interactions with Kobolds, petting! When close to one or a group, you'll be able to pet the closets kob to you. I'm also setting up movement for the player along with him dynamically kneeling based on height so you can pet even the tiniest baby bold! Still a ton of things to tweak but it's all coming along nicely.

Today we have a bakers dozen of baby Kobolds freshly hatched! Before an egg hatches you can carry them around and cradle them for faster hatching times, or if you're really impatient you can even throw them at walls but the baby might not be too happy about that! The colors are kind've all over the place as I work to find a good balance between a large range of colors that also work well together, it's pretty hard! I hope to also add a few more egg designs in the future too.
