Lockdown Emma

Hello everybody. Just a small update from me: unsurprisingly, there's  still no progress on the next episode, but I'll give you more  info on  this later. Happy Holidays everyone. I know I'm late, I know I haven't uploaded  or posted anything in weeks. It's 2020, things are... complicated.

But first of all, I want to thank everyone who supported me, especially during the long days of inactivity! Thank you so much. It's you that remind me, that there are still good, honest people out there who keep me from ditching what I loved to do entirely!

Thanksgiving 2020

So this is an idea that I had in the very last minute before thanksgiving. Admittedly, I was draging my feet wondering if I should do a thanksgiving special anyway and I wasn't sure what to do. But then I finally had a revelation and worked into the early hours to create the tiny characters I had in mind and to get the meme-reference right :P

Drenic All Stars 2020 - Wallpaper Version

I managed to get  the grainyness out of the picture! The fuck knows which one of my magic  rituals worked to get the denoise filter to finally kick in after dozens  of failed attempts, but it worked! Rendered the whole thing without  noise in a mere 8 hours! All 300 iterations of it! (For comparison: a  picture without clouds and atmosphere takes about 15 minutes for 300  iterations :D )

I know it's not really the first picture of a Drenic in their new  canonical size visiting Earth but I gotta start numbering them  somewhere! I still love those clouds so much, despite them being only 2d  planes with a transparency-map. You can see it a bit on the shadows on  her left arm and in her face. I got one more of the Janine-pictures. This is how the first one  would look like from the city down below looking up to Janine's face.  The clouds there are very very low (around 5-6km) but I really enjoy  putting them beneath the drenic's faces, because it really emphasizes  their immense size.

 For my birthday I made this render and I am presenting it to you! I  definately made it TODAY, it is FRESHLY out of the render-oven and  totally hasn't been lying around on my harddrive for months  whatareyoutalkingabout!?!
