So I finally finished the exclusive 4-part tutorial series on this (watch it if you're in the exclusive tut tier or above) and am now ready to release the project files!
In the zip you will find the .blend I used along with the original image sequence and baked out dynamic paint. Removals were done separately and were not included because they're like 1GB and also the most useful parts of the file don't really include a sequence of a carpet XD

so long story short I'm an expert at digging myself into holes XD
I'm going to be doing 1 CGMatter and 1 Default Cube per week from now on. I want them to be more fun to watch and more motivated. I'll still be holding the same early access/project file patreon structure (which should now make even more sense since I'll be uploading a couple days in advance). Hopefully this makes for more meaningful videos that aren't just placeholders for that slot in the week. We'll see

can't post it yet (hopefully in like 2 days) but I'm going to try out a new format (complete with it's own cringe thumbnail style):
Spot the CG:
the idea is to show a completed vfx shot (that's meant to look photorealisitc) and you have to figure out what in the shot is fake (kind of like a where's waldo I-spy situation). You get like 20 seconds and then I do a vfx breakdown revealing what is fake with a bunch of 'mini-tutorials'.
