What to do for January?

While I am finishing up the black Templar PDF here is a decission that I need your help with. For January I have these two options:

the 1:16 scale Valkyrie from Nocturna

The Valkyre would be more about larger scales skintones, different (as in different from what we did on the Black Templar, e.g.) cloth-texture as she is a) a larger scale b)  offers different fabrics (toque, shirt, pants) armor and  metallics.

The Blue Inside of the Cloak

Adding a counterpart to the light shoulderpad on his left side and to frame the armor against any background and make the contrast of the  black more intense I decided to paint the inside of the cloak a light color and decided for torquise, since that would also be a recurring color in the powersword. Revisiting cloth-texture in a rather "speed-paint-ish" but powerful way.

Vimeo has given me headaches the last few days and stubborn as I am I wasted 2 days on uploading, re-rendering and so on and Vimeo support is not answering, so for now I will just upload all videos to Youtube, sorry to those who liked the direct download button. Little Red Riding...Cloak

Painting the red outside of the cloak and texturing it. Also showing how to intensify a desaturated red in the last third.

Sorry for the inconvinience, but It's now 3 in the morning and I started trying to upload this to Vimeo 5 hours ago and it failed 4 times due to different reasons, so no direct download  button on this since I finally settled for Youtube. Hope it's going to work again on the next upload.

Maybe he should go and see a doctorologist. Anyway, showing you how to do some structured teeth, you can basically use this approach to paint horns or similar in the same way. Hope you enjoy it!

Tentacles!

Painting some Hentai....I mean tentacle goodness in this video. Trying to offer insight into how to switch up colors and still don't go too overboard and make your miniature too busy.

Nurgle Marine: NMM Variations and Verdigris

Finally back on track with uploading! This week will see 3 more videos and the 2 promised PDFs!

HEre it is. It's long. Like I said, it is was 9 hours of footage and I managed to get it down to 4 hours. That's why it is not dubbed. Turning this into a structured video would have taken away too much precious time from filming the next parts and I said: no, it will have to do.
