Jo Gator #1

Recently I bought the Drew Struzan instructional DVD where he shows how he created the Hellboy poster. At this point, Ive watched it close to 6 times, been collecting supplies, practicing, and eventually, coming up to this. This is for my friend on Instagram, of her favorite character on Splash Mountain :)

Even though this is complete, it’s just a warmup for the next bigger project I have planned!

Jo Gator

Finished this sketch for a friend on Instagram. She’s autistic, but she absolutely loves the alligators on Splash Mountain. Though this past week, she was really disappointed that the Disney parks will be closed for a while, so I drew her this :)

This is a serious attempt at my new style for sketching. Hopefully I’ll be able to get around to coloring this traditionally!

The New Kya (2020 remake)

This artwork is a redraw of one of my first attempts at digital painting I did back in March of 2010. That was nearly a decade ago. And today, I went back, and re-did her from scratch. This is what a decade of skill and practice looks like. I am finally able to render her as I imagined her back then.

Sitting Dragon

My first embroidery project!! I know, it’s quite a different medium than what I’m used to; but I’ve always found this look eye catching. And it’s always good that I get another art skill under my belt. So after months of practicing, I finally got my first character down. Hopefully I can get comfortable enough to where I can make custom patches for $10 supporters.
While im doing my next set of art rewards, Ill be planning my next embroidery idea  :3

Bassils Summer Job

I’ve been toying around with a watercolor brush set I found for Procreate, and it looks VERY convincing. And after numerous test arts, I think now I’m comfortable enough to where I can call this a finished pic!

Also this was Bassil’s summer job when he takes summer off from teaching at the school. Summer is over now, and he might miss working at the top of the waterslide, encouraging people to face their fear going down it. though he certainly won’t miss climbing those stairs!)&...

I have returned!
