Self Portrait - topless

This shoot was so much work to do!  I'll be sure to post all of the great photos from it and hopefully do another one some time.

It took my a while to notice my face(s) in this creative edit (no filter).

I don't know if my outfit quite goes with the backdrop...what do you think?

A messy and demanding, but fun shoot.

Looks so relaxed... but this one was hard to hold and it was freezing!!

This one has a secret!

A magical, almost implied secret...

...there goes a woman walking naked down the beach.

This is El Matador Beach, a popular shooting spot, a place I shoot more often than anywhere else.

This was a sunrise shoot before anyone else came to the beach.

Paint. Art. Perspective. Beauty. Philosophy.

All of the images I *want* to create are about art, originality, beauty, and inspiration.  I want myself and everyone involved in a shoot to finish feeling empowered, creative, sexy without being objectified, and with a voice that is heard.

The body, mind, heart, and spirit are poetry that creates itself, defining ideal outlets for their truest creations, when freed from our own fears, judgements, desires, and control.  The world is brutal and brutally judgmental.  A cont...

sunrise!!

I loved all of the photos from this sunrise shoot.

I want to do another with this photographer!  But, mornings can be hard for me as a night owl.

Worth it, though!

You'd never know, but this shoot took place in a giant, gorgeous house in Malibu.  It makes me feel ethereal.

Garters are great!  Though difficult to put on, they are sexy and surprisingly practical!

Wistful

During this shoot, some of the photographs kept falling off the walls.  Because they weren't well hung, not haunted.

the bed/the floor

For about 4 months, I slept on the floor.  A bed never felt so good after that!  This is a throwback to that time...

white onesie!

I love this piece of clothing!  Although, it is very impractical to wear.

At first, I felt that the twist in the string ruined the photo, but now I like it.

#MondayMood

... What does that even mean?   Hashtags are just excuses to use alliteration all the damn time.

Anyway, this shot was from that shoot I drove through a SoCal thunderstorm to get to.  Southern California roadways are not built for  rain, so driving in it really can be a living nightmare.

Still worth it!

This was from a  sweet and fun project about women in their own homes, exploring the themes of longing, loving, and losing.

I love the raw quality of the series and the way the photographer used depth of field to create soft and sharp areas of the photos.

There will be/are more from this series posted on various tier levels   ;)
