I want to thank you

I  wanted to thank you for critiquing the segment of my recent script that was very "drama" heavy, or would have caused drama. I wrote it out of an urge to respond to people attacking me, and realised through your critique that this is very dumb of me.

Getting sucked into drama nonsense is in part an old habit of mine from when I made different content 6 years ago.

Thank you for holding me to a higher standard and reminding me to not engage in drama and bad habits of the past...

A lot of you pointed out that the drama segment in the last script is unnecessery. Even as watered down as it is to explain why I made the video. And after thinking about it, yes, you are absolutely correct. I will revise the script and remove it.

The next video is a bit of an Experiment

I managed to break my microphone.

Well, actually the audio mixer, which is a device I need to record audio. This sucks, but is not a big deal. I have used this device for several years, and it was bound to wear down and break eventually. I already ordered a new one. What it does mean is that I will not be able to finish a video this month. I hope to give you two videos in July as a recompensation for this unfortunate delay.

I finished 7 scripts

I am going to try something now. As mentioned before I have engaged in a new type of work structure for the creating of videos. And now it is time to see if it will succeed. Over the past 3 weeks I wrote scripts for 7 videos, which should be enough content for the next 4 to 7 months. I will hire artists to do the majority of the work, and I hope that while these videos are being made in the background, I can finally finish the big project on Dutch history.

German Ostpolitik and Polish Realism

I took a week to write a script. Because i think it is an important one. It goes through the development of German foreign policy in the East after the second world war (called Ostpolitik). And i recount in the script how and why i believe it failed.

Management Changes

Hey everyone. Looking back at the last year of work the one thing that bothers me the most is my own inconsistency in work. I go through these very silly cycles in which I overwork myself, then am burntout and do nothing for an entire month, and then overwork myself again. Where have I been?

Hey. I have taken the last 3 weeks off. I played videogames, went on hiking trips, and visited some museums. I tried to quit smoking again, and failed again. And read some books.

I sort of overworked myself a little throughout the last 3 months of 2022 and the first 2 months of 2023. I was a little burned out and needed a break. Now that I had that break, and feel freshly energised, I am jumping straight back into work :)

Bad News

I mistakenly deleted an entire week worth of work....

yeah... this sucks. But it is what it is. I am going to sit down and just restart the project I was working on from scratch.
