Patron Input - A Gift for Marion (Minor Spoilers)

Hey guys!  Going through the latest draft build, it struck us that we could make one of the scenes have a little more pizazz, and we wanted to open it up to you guys for input!

So here's the scene:

You've just gotten your farmgirl neighbor a lovely little silver cowbell trinket from the market.  You decide you will visit her home to give her the gift, and find her doing the laundry outside.  How do you present the gift to her?   (you've had time to prepare!)

The in-game version has animated clouds and sun-glow... we'll have to put our heads together to see if there's a feasible way to animate the crowd, too!

Spring has sprung, and it's a lovely day for a picnic in the Highlands!  It looks like the whole town showed up (or at least it feels like it, after drawing all those silhouettes! :P).  Join your neighbors and come have some fun!

We're just about done with the code on Marion's Chapter 2 and getting things set up for the next Beta build.  In the meantime, we also updated the Working Documents to reflect the current plans for the story, including some adjustments ...

With the beta fixes the testers are finding and the remaining art to polish off, it's shaping up to be an early March patron-wide release for the latest build.  We'll keep everybody posted!  Sooooon :D

Animation Progress Update

With the new build comes new backgrounds, and I wanted to share with you how they look now that we've funded their animation!  We've got moving clouds and flickering sunlight...

This upcoming build has multiple dates with all three MacLeod girls, 6 endings, and all sorts of paths to get there.  As a result we ended up play-testing last week to make sure all those paths were working correctly, but with that out of the way, we're kicking new image asset production into full gear: new sprite alternates, new BG's, new frames, and new scenes like this one!
