Here are the things I had on my To Do list:
-Finish cover
-Work on the favor illustration
-Send next week's OJST strip + preview graphic to my syndicates
-Reserve this one book at the library
-Research next comic's topic 

I thought the cover would take, like, 1-2 hours. MAX. And then the illustration would be the time sink, with maybe another hour or two for researching my next comic's topic. Emailing my syndicates only took a coupl'a minutes and I'm gunna reserve that book...

Okay productivity today! Coulda worked harder, but I always let myself spend too much time online on update days, to keep feeding my social media accounts with link to the latest comic /:) I got an adequate amount of work done.

Hundredth update! 

Over the weekend I worked on the cover-- purely digitally this time. Kind of horrified to realize that my digital inking in Manga Studio is now better than my inking with a brush :| But to be fair, that botched book cover was the first time I'd used my brush in months, so maybe I was just out of practice.

Haha, as further evidence of how hard its been for my brain to work this week, today I inked by hand (for the first time in months!) on 11x14 Bristol paper the cover for the OJST book. I went back to traditional media because I thought it might make a good Kickstarter reward-- buy the original artwork of the book cover!

At 11:30pm we decided to launch the Kickstarter at midnight, for no especially considered reasons other than it was ready to go and why wait.

Tuesday, penciling day.

Spent all day working on graphics for the Kickstarter page and video and book stuff. 

I forgot the book would need author portraits, so I excerpted them out of some of the original OJST strips. You can see how I updated mine to be a bit more in-line with my current cartooning ;) 

Literally the only thing left is to design the book cover. Which is the scariest biiiiiiiiiit so I've saved it for laaaaaaaaast.
