At first I ordered a replacement screen online, since I'd heard that replacing a screen really isn't really particularly difficult... but I guess I read the description wrong because it ended up being the wrong size screen. So I kind of took that as a sign and just ordered a new phone online... but again I didn't read the description as carefully as I should have, and I didn't realize that the new phone only accepted Nano SIM Cards, and...

It's been nice to be able to focus more on Banana Cream Cake. I still owe some patreon rewards, so I won't be able to focus 100% on BCC for the foreseeable future lol, but still, I've been able to focus on it more than I have been lately.

Banana Shortcake 6: Futanarama: RAR

Something I didn't really talk about for this was the name... I had at first considered naming it simply "Futarama", which would flow a bit better... but it's too easy for it to just appear to be a typo. If you search "futarama" on google, it just assumes you spelled the word wrong and gives you search results for "Futurama".  The subtitle was actually thought up by CGI, which was inspired by the name of the episode where the Amazons first appeared.

In retrospect I think I might have played Amy a bit too "mean" in this story. In the actual show, there's a running gag of Amy saying insensitive stuff without realizing it, but in the show they're likely to only use that joke once every couple of episodes, but I fit the joke in several times in this short story. I guess it's just a nice source of humor between Amy and Leela.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this Shortcake story! I had fun with it as well, if only because it was exc...

I knew that I wanted Nina and Amber's reunion to have this joke in it from before I had even fully figured out what would actually happen to Nina in the other dimension. I don't know about any other comic writers, but I find that I sometimes come up with a joke that seems fun, then I kind of reverse engineer to figure out a way for it to happen in the comic.

I did a google search for "sexy eyes", and I think I got the angle of her eyebrow just a little wrong and she ended up with a slightly different expression than I was intending. lol I actually do occasionally just use word balloons to obscure art that didn't come out right.

Bonus: Cock & Dagger Finale: Hi-Res

Due to a combination of financial difficulties on my end and general creative differences, Cock & Dagger will be ending. Shotred still holds the rights to the setting and world, so he might do more with it in the future. From what he's told me he's not looking to hire a new artist or anything, so it's possible that the series will just end where it is, but who knows?
