Side Dishes 2-II: Page 5

Another page of Kenneth's commissioned continuation of the Capn Lily story. As before, he's open to suggestions for ideas for the comic, but unlike traditional Side Dishes this is all guided by one man.

The script for this actually called for a more complicated final panel where you could see the Nah-Ri women more clearly, but I had such a hard time just figuring out the positioning for Lily's crew that I didn't think I could handle figuring out more figures in the background as well. Hope...

Dr. Sharktopus and I are both pretty bad at coming up with names for characters. I've always been a little embarrassed about Kat's name, since it's just... so very literal.

So far I think that the new Patreon system has pretty well eliminated false patrons. Usually around this time of the month I get several "new" patrons that simply drop their pledge in about a week. For a while I had a few people who wouldn't even wait that long... simply pledging, downloading what they wanted, then immediately dropping their pledge. The option to ban Patrons helped to quell those obvious scammers, but the new system has pretty much put a stranglehold on them.

I was pretty happy with how that first panel came out. Lol to be honest in the previous page I kind of struggle with Anastasia's face in the last panel and I wasn't really satisfied with the result, so I made sure to give her some extra attention in this page and really show off her body.
