What's everyone's opinions on pubic hair? I actually prefer them, to be honest, but most of the characters in BCC are shaved down there mostly because it's kinda time consuming to draw pubes... it's a lot easier to just draw perfectly smooth vaginas. But considering the setting of this story, it doesn't make sense for pretty much anyone to be shaving down there... although now this has me curious about when crotch shaving became commonplace...

I always knew that Anastasia would have been trained by her grandmother before meeting Bianca, but to be honest I haven't thought much about her... like she doesn't have a name or a character design or anything. Figuring out what memories would run through Anastasia's head has weirdly been the part of this that took the most time. Even now I'm not 100% confident that what I settled on fully accomplishes what I'm going for, but I think it's enough to give you a good idea of why this is so upsetting for Anastasia.

I think working on the Avatar comic has helped to wake up some increased interest in more distinct lighting in me. I have a default palette that I pull from, and usually I just stick with it. But aside from just obviously trying to convey that they're sneaking through the halls at night, I'm also enjoying the mood that this kind of lighting brings.
