I have decided to implement a custom sound system that creates a texture-specific sound when landing on floors. Bear in mind that it's just for landing, it's not a footstep sound system.
What do you guys think of it? Any feedback is welcome, as always!

Took a short break from Hedon to do some art practice with this fanart piece. I've recently discovered Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, and by God have I fallen in love with this game. BTW it's 50% off on Halloween sale if you want to give it a try!

The testing session has yielded a lot of useful feedback, I'm pretty happy with how the Map13-15 cluster has been polished. Time to start thinking about Map16 now, here's a first sketch!
It's going to be a heavy combat-focused urban push map, metal ost, an arena segment with a mini boss fight and all that jazz.

With so many quest items being stacked in the map cluster, I felt like this was necessary. When you scroll through your inventory you'll now get a preview of the nearby items so you have an easier time selecting back and forth. What do you guys think about it, will it help you?

Wew, another one done! Now I just have to go back to Map13 and do the Phase 3 changes and the ending part, and the first half of Hedon's sequel will be completed!

As I have already teased, this is a feature I went quite *deep* with in making this map, to the point where the player will have to assemble a diving suit in order to explore a large chunk of it unhindered.
So yeah, I'm glad I had a great opportunity to design large underwater segments, this should be an interesting bit of gameplay variety!

One thing I've been doing more with Chapter Two is a "whiteboxing" approach when designing the level, more like it's usually done in the industry. Basically I just carve the rooms and slap some basic textures on them to get a feeling of the space and dimensions and all, then I proceed to detail it area by area.
