I keep telling myself to make smaller maps and I always end up with one of these beasts. Well, here it is in all it's glory. I still need to bridge it to Map13 with some progress related events but other than that this is Map14 done!

Five days in and I got a good chunk of it done, there's going to be a ton of scripts here but it will be so worth it :^)

Here it is in all it's sketch based glory. I'm super excited to start working on it!
This map will be sequenced into two parts that are accessed at different times from Map13, and it will also feature a more vertical design.
It will also introduce a new type of puzzle which will affect the whole level to some extent, and this is the main novelty that gets me pretty excited to start working on it.

I realized that Akhzul has remastered more than just one track, and so I've replaced the older versions with the new ones in Episode 1. It's definitely a notable improvement in mastering/sound quality.

Well, here it is, at last. It's probably the most expansive map so far area-wise, with Map14 and 15 following to fit in the southern and northern edges. However, as the title mentions, this is just the geometry, and now that I have to handle the scripts I realize that it's still far from done.
I also wanted to add a lot of extra NPCs than I had initially planned along with few new side quests. I also want to come up with a journal system to help the player keep track of it.

I'm going to be building up a sort of world map which shows how the first half of Episode 2 connects. As you can see, Map11 and 12 fit into the south-eastern part. You won't be able to travel back to them, but they are still required to make a feasible connection to Map13, which you can now see as a massive, sprawling area.
Map14 and 15 will come to fill the gaps later, but for now I'm going to start working on this. I'm also going to include a few optional quests to complement th...

With more assets done, it's finally time to tackle Map13... except this isn't exactly Map13 you're looking at. It's a schematic connecting Map13 to Map14 and 15.
Yep, I'm trying something new. Not just a back and forth inside a level, but across levels. Hopefully, this should be doable via Hexen compatibility, but still, wish me luck, lol.
