*Minor Spoilers!* So the second last strip in this set contains a spoiler about Jess' hidden motivation of why she decided to help Felix out. I've added a "Spoilers Ahead" image just before it in case you'd like to avoid it.

How and when Felix finds out this information in the final version of the comic will be different, probably in some dialogue between Jess and Ashley, but that motivation will remain the same.

Here's the next part of what could have happened to Felix/Fiona before I revised the story.

A major part of the reason I abandoned this version of the story-line is that it got to the big moment too quick and then skipped over it.

So while in my current outline this milestone is now much further away, Felix is going to have much more agency in getting there, and a few additional stepping stones on the way.

In an earlier version, Nori leaves the sea, takes on a human disguise, follows Ryan home, and hides that she is the mermaid he met. In the final version, things are much simpler.

Didn't quite finish the shading in time, I'll upload the final version tomorrow.

Things take a turn for the worse (or better) for Otto! For better story flow, I've repeated the last panel from two weeks ago.

I've also decided to start adding a bookend image for this comic and Heart Guardians, since the gallery jumps right back to the first image after the last one.

I had written and story-boarded (posed in Daz3D) these 23 strips, realized that I didn't like the direction it went, and then came up with the "Jess putting Felix in an interactive movie" idea and liked that idea and what comes after it so much more.
