So I've built up enough of a buffer for the Heart Guardians comic that lately I've been posting updates of about 25 panels/update.
With that many panels per update, it presents the opportunity to split the updates into twice a week.
So what is everyone's preference? One update a week with 20-30 panels, or two updates a week with 10-15 panels each?

Craig isn't happy that Felix is still continuing his lie, but at least Felix has Lisa to hang out with for the rest of the night.
There were a few different ways I had considered about how to handle this scene. Originally Craig was going to log off, Felix would notice Lisa in the distance, change into a girl, and then Craig was going to log back in and catch Felix as Fiona talking to Lisa.

Happy New Year!
So a while ago, I mentioned that I was going to start temporarily updating the comic twice a week until the story got to where I wanted it to be. That part of the story was Jess's introduction. However, I've gotten comfortable enough with this twice a week update schedule that I'm going to try and make it permanent.

So after trying a double comic last update, doing it once made it easy to do again, particularly because now I can properly introduce you all to Jess and her role in the comic! I've been waiting forever for this!
The idea of using the Dreamband to inhabit people's Sense Streams and Streamers having implants to record those Streams and let followers take the wheel is what turned this comic from just a short story to a full length webcomic.

I decided to try a doubled up comic this week because I really wanted to get to the last two panels of this update. It's a shock to Felix, but I imagine that many of you were expecting something like this (considering that Lisa and Sophie both had a bit of backstory introduced). Originally Felix was going to stumble into Lisa in-game the next day, but this felt like a better way to do it.

Originally, our protagonist was going to play as a female character disguised as a male character or he was going to pick a female Slime and show up in a male form, but then I had the idea about him forgetting to reset his character's sexuality settings, and the rest of the story simply fell into place. (The new character from yesterday's spoiler images is a hint about where things are about to go).

As magic users, it could be argued that Elementalists don't need any protective clothing because their magical shields can be as effective as plate armor, but I'm pretty sure that's not why the Elementalist armor looks like this.
