So when I posted the first strip, I had forgotten that I had been using the title of "MMO of the East" as a placeholder. That's the name of the game they are currently playing and will be playing for much of the story, but they will also be playing other games and spending some time out of the game.

So I've been playing a bit of Lost Ark and had to get this comic idea out of my system. I was going to wait until I finished the first Dreamband comic, but I couldn't get this one out of my head.

For me, this comic art style and format takes a lot more effort to create than rendering a series of panels for Idealized and drawing over renders and using the render as a colored background for the other Dreamband comic. But I love this art style, so I feel it's totally worth the extra effort...

So at the very last minute, I decided that I'm not sure if I like how this transformation sequence turned out, so I'm going to take a week to try another version and see which of the two I like better.

On the plus side, now there will be two transformations to enjoy!

So originally like in an actual game's character creator, our hero was going to switch between classes and races instantly, but that would also logically mean that they would switch between male and female instantly, and who wants that? Tune in next week for the big transformation!

So one problem when writing a comic where a panel's dialogue is written at the same time as I render it, is that I never have a clear idea how many more panels it'll take until I reach the end! When I first started this comic, I thought it was going to be no mor...

So I originally thought I'd be able to finish this comic this weekend, but it keeps on getting longer and longer. Will it reach 200 panels? Probably not, but who knows!

Anyhow I think this is my first comic with an actual villain, and I'm quite happy with how villain-y she is!

Edit: I forgot to include a PDF for the entire chapter in my original post, it's now attached. I also recently figured out how to extract all of a chapter's text from Clip Studio so that I can spell check it in Word. So the PDF has a bunch of spelling corrections that the original panels are missing.

Truthfully, I had kind of lost steam with this bonus comic and was only pushing myself to bring it to a finish so that I can move on to the next one. Posing sex scenes can be a pain in the butt. But the dialogue of the sex scene kind of just flowed together after I finished rendering it, and I'm really enjoying putting together this new scene with Jenkins and the mysterious stranger at the end of this update, so it feels like a bun...

So I'm not sure if I'm going to regret this later, but I'm going to try and make the next bonus comic a hybrid rendered/hand-drawn comic.

The plan (which rarely goes to plan) is for this to be a short (lol) comic about a guy who logs into a brand new fully immersive VR system and gets distracted with the character creator for one of the system's included fantasy games.
