Here's a quick animation I wanted to make. Blathers was actually one of the first guys I drew when I was starting with art and I hadn't drawn him in over a decade so I wanted to try my hand at a pic with him

Initially it was gonna be a static pic, but I thought it could be a bit more fun if I did a little loop for it as a bonus hehehe

This animation ended up taking more time than I expected because I kinda ended up going all out in complexity with it. Several loops going on at the same time, then at the end we have all of the individual shots going at different times, it ended up being quite a challenge!

I wanted to try to work exactly how I do with my usual pixel art in a regular illustration, using the same process and trying to limit my use of stuff like smooth blending to try to make it still feel like "me" you know?

Update

Hey everyone

Just wanted to make a quick post to update you guys

Last night our dog started developing some acute illness symptoms, I had stayed up with him but his condition worsened and we had to take him to urgent care at around 3am

The vet has been updating us through the day and his condition is improving, he was able to eat today and the exams are pretty good so far. He'll probably be able to come home tomorrow if everything goes well
