Endless Echo from 20XX, from the list of Jaeon! (I coincidentally handpicked one of Jaeon's songs last month and forgot to switch out the Major Boss Battle pick which was what was chosen on stream, so I defaulted to their current #1 song which was this one. 😅)

For this month's handpicked, I figured we have a pretty stacked set of familiar songs coming this month, so once again went with something I'm personally not too familiar with:

Baladiums Drive from Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, from the list of StormSaisku! I've seen this one on a few different lists over time, so let's get back to this series that we've only covered once before, nearly a decade ago.

Update Post! June 5th, 2025 (Stream today, Lumine Split Edition, and more!)

Hey Patrons, here's your first June '25 update post!

I've been hard at work getting June Jamboree songs prepared, and should have a preview of each ready for the lineup reveal before the end of this weekend. I will post a confirmed date and time as soon as I have one for you (it will likely be on Sunday afternoon, but will confirm this when I'm 100% sure).

The songs currently on the to-do list are as follows:

My original plan was to have Battle! Legendary Beast close out last month, but as the end of the month drew nearer, I felt it needed a bit more work and still wanted to get out a fourth, so I switched it up to the shortest of the planned June songs (KSS Boss) instead.

The plan for this month is to focus on the to-be-revealed June Jamboree songs, but I will squeeze in another to-do list song if I can.

Our monthly stream will take place at usual time today, starting around 4:00 PM US Eastern (a little under 4 hours from this post). The link will be posted here around that time, a stream recap along with my handpicked PRL choice for the month will be posted here shortly after the stream ends.

In other news:

I've created a split edition of Vs. Lumine for streaming service licensing/release, and have attached the download here for you all! This splits up the two phases (Vs. Lumine ~ First Form and Vs. Lumine ~ Second Form), and I've also added an additional loop to the first phase (same as first loop, no new additions beyond that). Paradise Lost still closes out the Second Form track, as it's composition is nearly identical to the soft section of Second Form.

New-past GaMetal streaming service release: after citing some new sources, I've managed to obtain licensing for The Pepsiman Pepsi Jam! You can choose your preferred music service here. I also commissioned Nutty to make us some new art for the occasion:

I'm now attempting to get licensing for Fight Against Smithy / Who Likes Transforming once again, as we have some new sources from the recent modern SMRPG soundtrack release. I'll keep you updated if/when those go through.

And finally: I'm considering opening up the 2025 GaMetal Song Ballot this month. There've been a few recent game releases that are sure to make the ballot interesting this year. I will keep you updated when I make a decision.

New GaMetal Video! Boss Battle / Computer Virus (Kirby Super Star)

The first official song pulled from the June Jamboree voting form on the public side comes from the 2015 SNES Medley, it's Kirby Super Star's Boss Battle theme!

This one is pretty short originally, so I thought I'd get a bit creative and make the second half inspired by the Computer Virus boss theme, which is essentially the same song but in a different key (and of course, a "retro" style soundfont in the game).

The songs for next month have been decided, and I'll be working as quick as I can get to a preview section from each one as soon as possible to do a reveal of the lineup here on Patreon for you all. The second half of this arrangement is inspired by the Computer Virus arrangement, which is really just the same song in a different key.

The full June remake lineup will be revealed as early into June as I can manage (likely about a week or so), the video for this song will be up this evening, till then, enjoy! 😃

In other news, I've decided to finish up one of the June Jadness songs a bit early, in fact, it'll be dropping on the last day of the month! I didn't want to have another 3 song month, and this song was one of the easiest ones for me to finish up in time (it's a rather short one), so I've chosen to get it wrapped up and out on the 31st. I'll be revealing it (along with a full download for ALL Patrons) tomorrow.

Small Update/Preview Post! May 13th, 2025 (Quick note on June Jamboree voting!)

Hey Patrons! This month's songs are just about ready, here's a preview of the next one up: Pac-Man's Park from Pac-Mania. I should be done with this one tomorrow or Thursday at the latest, video dropping the day after.

Also, I wanted to give a quick note on the June Jamboree voting form. I noticed some folks have submitted ineligible songs in the "Pre-2015 Song/Any Medley Song (any year) Song Choice #1" part of the form (the last 3 boxes in the Patreon-only section), so I just wanted to reiterate that this section is for full songs that I originally made prior to 2015 (songs from 2015, for example Splattack, are ineligible), or individual songs from any medley (full console or series medleys are ineligible, such as the SMRPG mega medley, but individual songs from said medleys, such as SMRPG's Sunken Ship, would be eligible). My apologies if my wording was confusing to anyone! The Patreon form is editable until the closing date (Friday May 16th) for anyone that needs to fix their submissions.

(Also incase you missed it, the public June Jamboree voting form is live as well, which you are also welcome to vote in, though keep in mind this one is uneditable afterwards.)

Also, we'll have our next Patreon Request List listening stream soon! I'm thinking Friday, but first I want to see when I have Pac-Man's Park finished. I will keep you updated later this week.

June Jamboree 2025 Voting Form (Patreon version)!

Hey Patrons, it's time to make some difficult choices... and vote for some of the songs you'd like to hear in our first ever June Jamboree!

(Or June Jadness as we're calling it here on Patreon, since it's taking the place of May Madness this year.)

For those unfamiliar with the previous May Madness events: every May since 2015, I've gone back and re-covered a few of my older remixes. I do this to spruce up some of my older arrangements that I feel could use a fresh coat of paint as I continue to polish my skills in multiple avenues over time.

Last year, we shook things up a bit and voted for full versions of songs that previously appeared in GaMetal medleys. I felt that went over very well (and made for a far easier to understand voting form for a lot of folks), so we're going to do something similar again this year... but once more, a bit different!

For this year's form, we'll be looking at songs from 2 console medleys we didn't include in last year's voting: the recent Game Boy Advance Medley #2 and our original 2015 SNES Medley. You can pick up to three songs from each of these medleys that you'd most like to hear a full version of.

In addition to that are two new categories: Second Chance and Select 2015 Songs.

The Second Chance category contains medley songs from last year's form that received a high amount of votes, but didn't make it into the final set (usually a runner up or song that tied between the Public and Patreon forms).

The Select 2015 Songs category contains GaMetal songs from 2015 that I'd be interested in remaking. In regards to this section, there are some 2015 songs that I'm personally ok with and honestly don't feel need a remake, some that have received remasters as bonus tracks in yearly compilation albums that I'm content with, and songs that I'm more interested in giving a complete overhaul rather than a remaster (or that I've remastered before but still up for remaking). This category contains that latter portion of songs.

But wait, there's more!!

This is the Patreon form, so like always, you get a few extra privileges! There's a Patreon-exclusive second page to this form where you'll be able to vote for a song from the classic Game Boy Medley, as well as a final section to vote for any pre-2015 or song from any medley (any year), akin to how we previously voted for May Madness songs (up to 3 submissions).

Feel free to vote in both forms if you'd like (this one and the public one from the YouTube channel community posts), though do be aware that I don't have response editing or results summary enabled on public forms.

I'll be taking a hard look at the songs with the most requests, and I'll have many of them coming your way this June. 

This form will close on May 16th to prepare for the upcoming event. I will post a final reminder on the last day of voting. Hey Patrons, here's your first official update post for the month!

I got held back a little bit once again last month due to our newest puppy dog's neutering surgery recovery keeping me occupied a bit more than I expected (along with working on a medley on top of that), but this is looking like a great month for me to finally start catching up on the song count for the year.

The current to-do list is now:

Pac-Man's Park will be next up, likely followed by Vs. Lumine. The Synapse may be coming later this month as well (to be honest, I need to listen to it some more). I'm hoping to get these vocal songs ready to go soon and will keep you updated on their progress. My hope is to have everything that is currently on the list (aside from Peppermint and Wii Medley) complete and out before the end of June (meaning a song or two from the above list might release during our "June Jadness" event, more on that in a second).

Today we'll be adding two more songs to the list: one chosen during today's monthly stream (taking place at our usual time of 4:00 PM US Eastern), and my other handpicked choice coming shortly after the stream ends.

As mentioned last month, I decided to move May Madness to June to catch up on some things I'm working on, so this month we'll be voting on which songs you'd like to see come during the month of June. For those unfamiliar with our past May Madness's: this is the month I usually remake a bunch of old GaMetal songs (normally, songs I covered prior to 2015) as well as giving songs that previously appeared in medleys a full feature. Last year we tried a "medley songs only" style which I felt went over very well, and I'll be handling this year's voting process similarly, but not entirely the same, this year. I'll be starting the voting for this later this week (there will be a public vote and Patreon vote), so more info then.
