Rimba Racer: Tempest

I have an e-book project that I've been charting since 2008, inspired by a Spanish Art Director's first time in Malaysia. It's a guidebook, you will all have a test copy once I've put together a few pages.

March 2016 pack (part 1)

I have not slept in over 2 weeks.

Instead, I napped in 3 - 4 hour cycles and worked over 10 to try tire myself. I have no circadian rhythm, instead I have to deal with Senile Cat Siren.

Golden Apple Pie update

I'm jumping around too much, decided to sit down and focus on this. Such experimental coloring, much sore back for sitting for hours on end.

Done up page 3, 4, and 5.  Updated page 2, forgot Ms Pie's glove continuity in the last frame.

Comic: Golden Apple Pie

While doing the annual CNY cleaning, including laptop maintainence, I unearthed this unfinished comic.

I'd forgotten about it since it was meant for the last studio's artbook and I have some pretty big slabs of beef against them, kinda put it aside and it slipped my mind. I guess I have a lot more stuff hidden in dusty corners of my hard drive.

January stuff

Just recovering from a 3-week-long bout of viral cold that has severely put me behind my art output.

A commission downpayment has allowed me to junk all my old pens with scraggly ink flow, and replace them with fresh ones. Breaking in the new pens with a series about D&D chefs. Cuisine is something rarely talked about in fantasy roleplaying, as a class or mastery.

- Videos are a no go, I've tried a few software, nothing works well enough and Openbroadcaster cannot run on XP so no streaming either. I'm trying a ghetto method of saving a JPG every 15 mins then compiling them into a video.

I think I'm picking up the pace, when I'm not bouncing around other ideas, experiments and starting up my game studio, I managed to output 2 pieces a week. Still gunning 100 submissions for Deviantart and 300 for my FA.

For future reference, do you want me to pack in all-digital high-res as well? I'll be arting digitally more often, just got a hand-me-down monitor to break in and bumping for animation by year's end.

Comic one-shot: Lil Shup

I've wanted to do comics for a long while, something that tells more story than just a single illustration. I have a few ideas, none of them with very long arcs but there're some I can do one-shots with.

This is an after-Earth story about a duo who travel together. They will deal with survival, moral gray areas, difficult choices, betrayal and the undead, or as they're called in the comic Carrions, because they 'carry on' moving after death.

A quick search reveals that I was born with ptosis, a sagging of the eyelid. Mine now covers about half my right eye, it can be corrected with surgery or propping-up glasses, or in my case, a temp fix of raising my chin and looking down my nose. I look snooty but I see a little clearer.

Nothing serious, persistent irritation at best, I will learn to adapt.

Welcome to what was my September looked like and it's still ongoing, I have not seen a blue sky and the mountains in the horizon for over a month. Couldn't get much done while trying to make sure I'm still breathing properly so I'm adding a bit of stuff I did in October to the pack.

Hazy with a chance of cat.

It's been hazy for a few weeks, find it hard to sleep, to wake up, to breathe, to do stuff. I press on the best I can, this should be over by month's end when monsoon season rolls by and washes all the dust away.
