Allo! Back from the pause and weeks of lo-back pain. Still a bit sore but have healed enough work.

Am a day late for delivery, my bad, was exporting files when I found out Donald Duck wasn't finished yet. Also took some time to work on something that was brought to my attention, by a patron who could not find some files: a preview grid.

Don't know why it took me so long to realise this issue.

Out of curiosity I went and tallied my annual output. Just reward-able art, not including trades or commissions. This is what it looks like

Fudd's Recap Walkabout: the planning stages

I'm still not certain about this, if and when I get to starting. it'll be set in a post S8 Friendship-school general timeline and can go two ways.

Follow the episode events: Key point being notable events, which will probably start with Applebuck Season. It should also not be tied to the episode plot and something Fudd can participate in, so Dragonshy and CM Chronicles are out. In Over a Barrel, Fudd can visit the buffalos.

Last work files of 2018

And here comes the PSDs

Testing out smaller resolution. By keeping full process, which includes all the trial-error and backup layers, even the simplest colorjob ballooned past 100MB pretty easily.

Sized 2500px at longest, it's 240~MB saved on all 11 files, compared to the older 3000px max res.

If it works, I'll switch. If not I can revert to 3K and clean up the messy layers before packing up. They sort of come to the same at the end, smaller res with slim margins in space s...

hey all, to new supporters, welcome and i do hope you'll enjoy your stay.

since i started, i may have been late or cut off because of dead tech, but i haven't missed a delivery. now, 3 years later, i'm thinking about taking a short break.

nothing's wrong. it's just i've got a lot of things going on at the same time, commissions and trying to meet quota are clashing. too many things needing my attention. Too many things neglected in pursuit of quota, like the zodisonas.

And some scraps! My attempt to lightbox cover pieces for the slasher queens, with filler doodles.

I don't think lightboxing covers will work for me, specially if I want them to line up perfectly. Scratch that technique off my to-use list.

PSDs still stay the same 3000px for now, despite having over 20 layers. Nothing egregiously large when zipped up, yet, but I did do a test and 500px smaller shaves an average of 30MB off the PSDs.

No more screwing around this month, testing whacky...

On the subject of which, do you open it up and look at the files? Does it help to look at my layer structure, in conjunction with the sequence packs from the other tiers to see how things get done?

Would it be a bother if I shrunk down the PSD some more?

In a hurry to go out and get some papers xeroxed, I think I forced a shutdown while PS was in the midst of saving this file. So when I got back to export it didn't save so Inugami was left 70% done pre-save.
