Progress update

Hi

Still working on the update. 

It's about the same size as last month's. The difference is that there aren't many choices in it, mostly the outcomes of previous choices. But a few more animations. Happy, as an author to see Alexandra grow as a character. And her time is fast approaching. All in all, I'm pretty happy with where it is. And I'll make another post on Friday to give you an exact release date.

Hope this finds you well.

The final count is 298 renders and 2 animations of 62 frames each. I've put in the last batch of renders this morning. Add to that a little post work, and the update will be released tomorrow evening, or early the day after tomorrow. It's all smooth sailing from here.

Continuing to work on the update. I've really been enjoying working on this update. But I promised a more exact release date with this post.

Things are going pretty well, so I think next Sunday, or next Monday at the latest. Yeah. That should be plenty of time.

Well, things are progressing. :D

This will be a bigger update than the last one. It has to be in order to end it in a logical place rather than the middle of a scene. It will probably go over 300 renders. But it shouldn't be a problem.

It will take about 12h. That and doing post will push the update to tomorrow afternoon. My time that is. Friday night or something if you're in the US timezone.

Things with Alexandra are progressing well. Not done yet, but progressing well.

I can say with quite a bit of confidence that the update will be realeased on Friday.

Android port and bugfix

Here is the android version. It took a little longer because I had to do a couple of bugfixes.

Started on the next update, but it's still early days. I'll keep you guys in the loop as I progress.

I'm in the testing phase. It's almost done. 

That being said, there's some kind of flooding in the basement of my building. And now I've just been told that they're talking about cutting the power for this afternoon. That's why I'm saying, I'm not sure. I'm making this quick post to give everyone a head's up. So if you see me disappear from discord and everything, that's what happened. 

If they don't cut the power, it should be ready in 5/6 hours.

Progress update

Things are going well. Slow but steady. My new PC broke down, and I had to switch to my old one. Lucky I kept it as a backup. Now I'm back on my new PC after it came back from warranty. What RAM stick gives out after two months? But no worries. Since I had a backup it was barely a bump on the road.

Things can always put a wrench in the process. But all things being equal, the update should be ready on Monday evening/ Tuesday morning.

As far as Alex goes, things are progressing.

It's been good to see her again. I never realized how much I missed her. As things are right now, the update should be ready next weekend. But I'll make another one of these early next week, to confirm the date.

Things are going well so far. Even a bit ahead of schedule. I haven't started on the animations, though. And there are a couple more scenes that I desperately want in this update. 

Still, things are going well.

With the latest IR update now on itch, I'm going back to working on Alexandra. And I think I won't be moving away from her for the rest of the year.

I'm having to move my old games off patreon. Not really my choice. Them's the rules.

From now on, only Alexandra will have a place here.

It's been a while, hasn't it.

In regards to my health, I'm good. Almost back to my old self. I thank you all for your well wishes.

It's progressing pretty good. IR is a bit more difficult  due to the miriad of different paths. 8 just for Andrew is the newest count. But that's to be expected as we're creeping towards the end, and your choices begin to manifest themselves.

I can say that things are going rather well. Most of my symptoms are gone, and I've started to work again. I'm not quite my old self, I don't have the same productions levels yet. But I'm back at work, and working on IR.

General update

Very happy to be able to write this. I had what it turns out to be a pretty close call. A blood vessel burst on the right side of my brain.

I had the surgery, and now I'm back home. Very lucky. My legs and arms function normally, I'm not slurring my speach etc... All in all, I went through it pretty much unscathed. It will still take me a while to recover though. The doctors say that I won't be ready for work till the end of the month and that rest is my primary c...

 Tuesday evening I was taken to the hospital due to uncontrollable vomiting.

 The day after they let me go, because in the current circumstances I'm more likely to die inside a hospital than outside it. What I had was apparently a mild neurovascular incident . Everything I'm working on is currently om hold. Given that I sleep for 23 h a day.  Took me a day just to write this thing. I'm of course pausing my patreon during this time, so you won't be charged.
